Smooth as silk with remarkable penetration. Mineral oil isn't bad, either.
Fantastic kitchen and workshop essential. Used on a plain, used and untreated beech chopping board and on a new, Richardson Sheffield Natural Kitchen Trio Chopping Board from Argos (bamboo chopping boards - two smaller boards sliding adjacently into third - also, a fantastic piece of kitchen hardware). Oil has prepared the board surfaces wonderfully; easily applied; superb penetration of all surfaces of used beech board and new bamboo trio. I bought two x 250ml: 150ml has prepped both sides and all edges of four boards (30x45, 30x39, two 18x29 - centimetres). Fully absorbed overnight at room temperature (19degC). Re-applied after 8 hours followed by buffing with dry cotton dish cloth. Two x250ml same delivery cost as one x250ml. Oil will store in kitchen cupboard or workshop - does not denature unless opened and left in plastic bottle for 6 months or more. All bullet points on Amazon site are correct. Fully recommend.

Under Filled.
I bought 250ml, which when it arrived I shook it - and it felt under filled! I could not see the fill line, because the bottle is relatively opaque. The quality of the product, however, is second to none. I bought a second bottle, 500ml this time, I shook the bottle, and again it felt under filled. This time I went to the window and could clearly see that it was underfilled:- see photo. I need to use this oil in the next couple of days, so I will not be sending it back for a refund, but I am very disappointed.

A housekeeping essential
Restores a professional new gleam to any wood item. I’ve used it on a coffee table, work top, blanket box, candle sticks, breadboard and slate mats. It’s colourless, odorless and easy to apply with a paint brush, and you don’t need to clean the paint brush afterwards as it’s just a light oil. You just pour a little on, spread it with the brush and let it dry. Apart from cleaning the area 1st you don’t need to do anything else e.g. cover the surrounding area unless it’s stained, I used sandpaper to remove marks on a worktop 1st. Very professional finish and the easiest DIY product I’ve ever used. It’s a repeat purchase.

This stuff is excellent. I used on my fruit bowl and it totally revived it. I then went a little barmy and used on all the wooden furniture in the house. It has completely transformed an old chest of drawers that had seen better days. It gives wood such a vibrancy and shine and makes it, quite frankly, beautiful. I love this stuff and although a little goes a long way, will definitely be buying more

It works well
it has improved the finished look of my chopping boards, it also allows the surface to be cleaned easier. So far it has prevented stains from penetrating into the wood, looking forward to a long term stain free chopping board.

good mineral oil for butcher's block, wood surfaces, no odor
Good price/quality; no strong odour, works well on butcher's blocks, cutting boards and wood surfaces.Very satisfied, would buy again. Please Note: Prefer buying locally so, as for all my purchases through Amazon, I regret that I could not find this in a local shop.

Easy to use and does miracles
This is so easy to use. Just take a kitchen towel/paper, apply some liquid (a little does the job) and that’s it. It works miracles on unfinished wood and old chopping boards. I did a big dough board and a medium-sized chopping one, and there’s still more than half left in the bottle. I do recommend it, it is an excellent value for money.

Does what it says on the tin!
This went on really easily. It absorbed very well and i just gave a little wipe to the board afterwards. The boards are nice and moist and will be a lot easier on my knives. Also, i dropped some beetroot and it wiped straight off without leaving a stain. I'm very pleased with this. I will buy it again.
