Unique, Authentic Ube Flavor in a Spreadable Form
As someone who loves all things ube, this spread really impressed me. The texture is creamy, with a slightly earthy sweetness that tastes like real Philippine ube—not artificial. It’s vegan and gluten-free too, which is a bonus. Perfect on toast or mixed into desserts. It’s on the pricier side per ounce, but the quality justifies it.

Not great
Really poor quality mostly coconut, and the color and consistency is not what's advertised.

Excellent ube halaya with clean ingredients!
I'm so grateful this product exists! I love ube but I can't stand the artificial coloring and flavor that almost all Asian/Filipino brands have. Now our whole fam can enjoy ube knowing it's made with clean ingredients. Great ube halaya flavor, not overly sweet. Definitely make sure to massage the packet before squeezing! I use this to make binignit -- a yummy dessert stew made with coco milk, sweet potatoes, cassava, plantains, boba, jackfruit & ube!

Not a fan
Not a fan. It taste weird and even the consistency even though the pack was kneaded a few times. Also, the coconut taste is stronger than the ube itself. It is also very sweet.

Awful packaging
The taste is wonderful but I’m not sure I will buy again because it is near impossible to squeeze out of the packaging. The texture is so thick it needs to be taken out with a knife so I ended up chopping the entire top off

Very good!
Delicious and creamy as coconut products are.

It doesn’t come close to even tasting as ube.
I regret buying 3 coz it was expensive just for one thinking I am getting a good deal. Then just a few days after the price dropped to more than $3 each. Then when it came I was so excited to try it coz o was happy that finally I can buy and taste a real ube spread, but it doesn’t come close to the taste of ube. It is nasty. Now I have been trying to get a refund through Amazon since it says that seller cannot refund me at all. So so disappointed with this purchase. I don’t recommend anyone trying this ube spread at all. Sorry just being honest.
