Fantastic rod. I wish I had gotten one sooner. First two trips out caught a nice trout and a 4lb sheepshead with no issues. Rod feels great in the hand.

Solid Pole Great for Salt Water
Paired it with a Penn Slammer 3500. Super light and balanced just right. Great for small blue fish and fluke. Works great for in shore and bay areas. Love this setup.

I bought this for my wife who wanted a light (as in not weighing much) outfit. This rod, weighing 4.5 ounces, perfectly balances the Shimano CI4 4000 reel. With 30 lb FINS braid, the entire rig weighs around eleven ounces! She is extremely happy with this combination and is able to fish all day without getting tired. The rod is very sensitive and sheldom does she miss feeling a bite. My only complaint is that she outfishes me!

Wish all my rods were this good
I love this rod. Super light but with backbone for big reds. Same action as similar fresh water rod. Paired with Quantum smoke to make a smoking outfit.
