great camera, won't stay hook up to wifi, have to reset a lot, lorex help is bad, because didn't buy directly from them, would not buy these again or more ,switching brands

These work great so pleased with this purchase.

We have 4 of these cameras and the picture quality is great. However, one of the batteries has already gone bad and won’t hold a charge longer than 24 hours. If we have settings set to motion, the batteries die really really quick. The system also needs a better setting for notifications.

Because I own a wired version of this and I like it, I thought about ordering this one because I didn't want to run more wires to two areas of our backyard that have good Wi-Fi coverage. Installation was not complicated, but I was expecting to be able to use the software I already had for the wired system, but it required me to use a different app, which was not as good and intuitive. I don't understand why they have two apps and why the seemingly more recent one is so cumbersome.Live image is excellent and not much different than the wired model, but one thing that bugs me is that they advertise it as 4K, which it is, but it records at 2K only. That is good for my needs since I also have other cameras, but I hate to feel I have been deceived by marketing advertisement. I call that half truth and to me half truth is a full lie.Anyway, it is a good system. My only concern right now is how long the battery will last. I wish it had some solar charging option, because it is going to be a challenge when I'm traveling and the battery runs out. My recommendation is to go with a wired model if you can and is feasible. PoE is the way to go as the ethernet cable can provide both power and video streaming at the same time, but if wireless is your only option, this could be it as long you're okay with 2K recording and are aware of the issues with battery running out.

I don't write reviews often, but, this was awesome to install and very simple.....

No instructions, the manufacuter states on the internet that you can shut off the camera LED security light via the app, you can't. Who ever wrote the app should be fired. Very few items can be changed via the NVR (offline) and the app is a joke.

There is a lot to like about this security system. I like that they are battery powered, since that gives you a lot more freedom with camera placement. I wish that they had a solar panel option, so that I don’t have to remove the batteries for charging. The good news is that the batteries last for a while, so you don’t have to charge them too often. The camera quality is good and allows you to see things in detail. I like that it comes with 1TB, for 4 cameras that is more than enough. The app is not the best and is where these cameras fall short for me. It needs quite a bit of work to really be worth the price tag.

Camera system is good. Easy to instal. Robust. High build quality. Software is a bloated mess. I think you’re better served spending your money on a system with a more polished and perfected UI experience.
