The 3rd one I've tried....and best
I live in an apt in an old house, on village water. A couple years ago I bought the aqua youth 2.0 filter, last year changed it out with an aqua bliss 500. With those , hard to tell when they should be replaced. Wish I had bought the Weddell to begin with.Great design. Lighter weight because it uses a foam carbon filter. I noticed during the first use, my tub floor felt cleaner under my feet, less slippery. Feels great.Setup is simple, but read the directions :) it has a plastic fittings, with a soft seal, so finger tight is plenty, like a water bottle cap. People who have leaks probably have the water pressure too high, or damaged threads.. from overtightening or cross thread.I would recommend this filter, the others I've tried, not so much. I paid 90 for it in September 2025, but to me it's a must have. Blessings- I see a lot of people have issues with water pressure. My recommendation would be, buy a shower wand or shower head with a wider spray! Also, the filters work better/ last longer if it's not maxed out on pressure capacity!

Excellent chlorine filter
I researched a lot of shower filters and watched many review videos before choosing this filter. I live in central Ohio where the water is moderately hard and is chlorinated. It hasn’t rained much here and I’ve notice a change in my shower water. Shampoo doesn’t lather very well and my hair and skin don’t feel “clean” after a shower. I think it has to do with the concentration of minerals and additives in the water that leaves behind a residue. I wanted a solution that would be less expensive than a full home water filtration system. This filter was very easy to install by myself. Instructions were straightforward, the seals were tight, and it doesn’t take up much space. The water pressure is the same as before and there were no leaks. I like that the filters are visible and you can see when you need to change them. It does not claim to soften water, but after the first shower I could tell a major difference! My hair dries faster and has more volume to it. My skin feels softer and smooth. The filter is competitively priced compared to other filters out in the market, has high scores on chlorine removal, and I think it’s well worth its value!

Easy to install, works with dual showerheads
The media could not be loaded. Excited so far… I used to live about 85 miles from where I do now and the water was very different, this is much harder. I saw gunk on the bottom of my kitchen pull down sprayer and was completely grossed out and now I realize it's just hard water build up and deterioration. Ugh. My hair has gotten so dry and frizzier and my skin can get itchy so I was trying to figure out what to do. My plumbers said they can put a filter on my main water line that is citrus based etc. for over $2000. I'm not ready to invest that yet, especially since I'm not sure yet if I'm going to stay in this house for a long time or not. So I started looking at one for the shower because I already use a countertop reverse osmosis machine that I love for drinking water for myself and my cats and then you use the filtered out water for your plants. That was a $400 system but looks like a coffee pot but has been well worth it to me over buying an ordering water over and over again. The absolute 100% reason I bought this one is because you don't have to keep taking the shower arm on and off. Who wants to do that?! Especially with the two arms like I have. There is no way! This was the one you didn't have to do that and was kind of cool looking ha ha. I wasn't sure about this working out because I have a dual arm showerhead that I like, (especially for bathing pets) but I saw a picture where someone else had one so I thought I would give it a shot! The water pressure where I live is excellent, actually more than you probably need and when the owners redid the bathroom there is only one speed which was power wash! So I found this little lever thing on Amazon that can control everything from turning the water off to high speed depending on what I want. I posted a picture of what that piece looks like. I wasn't sure whether to take that off or not, but the reviews that said low water pressure was when the filters started getting dirty so I decided to leave it for now. So that's something I will decide later. It fit onto the threads of the piece with the water pressure lever perfectly and I just ran it cold and hot to clear the filters. I'm not one of these people that takes two showers a day, and sometimes I skip when I'm not going out and just staying at home doing projects so I hope the filters last longer than some of these other people. I think one person said 20 days but others more and the info states like 3 to 6 months I believe? I'm hoping so, but if I like it it's still less expensive than a whole house system. I will update if things changed but so far so good! Oh and as simple as this thing is to screw on, I can see some of the people did not look at the directions because it says to only use the plumbers tape on the bottom part where you connect your showerhead, not where you connected to the threads of the faucet coming out of the wall. I see in pictures where people did use the plumbers tape and a lot more than just 2 wraps, so if you want to do it properly and not have leaks just pay attention to the instructions which also tell you how to change the filters. I preemptively bought extra filters since I don't know yet how long they will last.

Just buy it!
I live in a city with absolutely terrible water. I looked at all the different shower filters, but I really did not want to pay a lot for a shower filter for it to not work good. I really did not want to pay 80 dollars for a shower filter but let me tell you I’m glad I did. I have used it once and I noticed a difference. It is kind of gross to see the filter but honestly I am glad I can see it and I can tell it is actually working!

Pleasantly surprised!
First off, this was easy to install. We’ve used it for a week and I’m flabbergasted at the amount of “bleh” it’s filtered. The right filter in my photo was originally white. That’s just how gross the city water is where I live.I’ve noticed a difference with my curls and the dryness of my skin and scalp. I got a fresh haircut the day before getting this filter and I’m sure as time goes on I’ll notice a huge difference in how healthy my hair is.The shower head I have works very well with the filter and there’s no leaks so far.My only complaint is that I’ll obviously have to change the white filter pretty frequently, but that’s not necessarily a problem with the product as much as it is a problem with the water quality.

Improvements on day 1!
I've had it for 3 days, and my hair has definitely been a bit softer after my showers. Usually when I strain the water out of my hair, my fingers feel stuck against my hair, and I almost immediately deal with dry skin on my forehead, cheeks and arms. But it's better now. The water flow is actually better than my sprite filter. The build is really impressive, and I actually dropped one of the filter containers from 8 feet and it survived the fall.So far so good, I don't do much for my own upkeep, so I was just hoping that improving my water would make a difference, and it did!
