Les Mills™ Dual Purpose Ergonomic Exercise Weight Plates for Total Body Workouts

I thought this was a frivolous purchase - I already had the 5, 2.5 & 1.25 sets, but this has made BodyPump much more convenient, and I've found it easier to push to higher lifting now...

Love how they are perfect in position for holding to do shoulder work. Had rotator surgery and these are exactly what I needed for home therapy. Not only from shoulder but I can put on my feet for extra weight doing leg lifts. Not cheaply made so I can honestly recommend them.

I bought most everything from the Les Mills website, although it was a little more pricey, but Amazon didn't have everything. I bought these additional weights and I'm not disappointed. These workouts are awesome and these weights make it so much easier to transitions between exercises. Now I have a could extras when I need to have just the plates vs. the bar. No loaded and unloading. LOVE IT!

Love it! I especially love how they double as hand weights. With apartment living anyway to save space is key. I also like how easily they come on/off the bar. So simple. It was expensive for my first set of weights but it's perfect and I love the Les Mills OnDemand app and workouts. I've tasted the coolaid.

These weights are perfect if you are doing the Les Mills streaming group fitness classes. They are the exact same ones that are used in the official Les Mills classes that are offered at gyms, YMCA, etc. The weights slide and lock onto the SmartBar very quickly and are easy to release as well. (Oh yeah, make sure you get the SmartBar Gen 2 if you want to maximize using these weights).The center bar in each plate makes using the weights without the bar easy as well. If you've taken any of the Les Mills classes you know that being able to transition from one weight to another is key since things are very fast paced.These weights are definitely expensive compared to regular circular weights but the compatibility with the SmartBar and the center handle really add value if you are using them for Les Mills workouts.The only potential downside I see is that these weights may not be enough for some stronger people so you may end up with smaller weights that you don't use if you'd rather have several of the large weight on the bar at the same time.

I bought a smart bar and these weights go perfectly with it. Known to be more costly but I use these at the gym and know they are quality and last.
