My Favorite Shoes!
There is no doubt that SaS makes great shoes. I first learned about them from a friend who is diabetic. (And, yes, they are Medicare-approved for Diabetics.) The leather is top quality that's treated to resist water, the soles are the non-slip type, and the quality of workmanship is first-rate. I have high arches and insteps and I particularly like the long lacing area that gives me a secure fit. Also, the fit on my 13W feet is dead on. I've only tried the Guardian and the Move On models. The Move Ons were a disappointment as they are wider than the Guardians and have a small lacing area that doesn't give a very secure fit. We have very hot summers where I live and they are nice for when my feet swell up, but I would not buy them again. You can't go wrong with the Guardians. My only complaint is that they only come in black - they'd look really nice in a chestnut brown. Maybe SaS will do something about that, but it's probably a cost issue. That being said, these rather expensive shoes are so comfortable that, assuming they are durable and last a long time, they are worth every penny.

A very nice shoe
This is a very stable and comfortable shoe. I wear a 11 wide. The fit of the shoes is very good. The manufacturer states that the upper and sole will separate when wet. I will keep these nice shoes dry.

Sas shoes
Sas shoes are great fit and I was so happy to find this shoe in a narrow width. The fit was divine. Narrow shoes are hard to find thank you Amazon.

Best work shoes ever made.
I will never wear another kind of shoe to work again. Suffered from painful feet for a long time and began developing plantars fasciitis. Tried these shoes based on recommendations from coworkers. Got a pair at an SAS store and loved them so much I bought 2 more online. The instructions that come with them say; because they are real leather they should not be worn repeatedly without allowing them to dry completely. I rotate the 3 pairs and they are incredibly comfortable. I used to think it was crazy to spend so much on shoes, but now I look at it as an investment in my health and worth every penny.
