Easy to read
This flow meter works great, its very easy to install and is the perfect replacement for my underfloor heating manifold. The flow meter is fully adjustable and setting up the flow rate on underfloor heating is essential to maintain a balanced heating system and also to distribute heat around the floor evenly. Simply adjust the flow rate to your requirements and then place the locking ring to set it on place and also avoiding anyone changing flow rates by accident. Featuring a very clear easy to read gauge which unlike my original only had a small window this has a 360 clear view at the current flow rate with clear to read flow markings on litres. Excellent product and fantastic value for money. Highly recommend.

A broken actuator meant I could change our grotty 16-year old flow meters at the same time.
When one of the zones on our underfloor water heating system stopped working, I was unable to see the flow rate as the glass meter for that zone was so badly stained it was impossible to see the indicator. I then started to look at the various makes which were compatible for our Polypipe (now called Uponor) system. Prices varied from about £6 to around £38, but most were in the £10 to £12 range. Some are made of brass and plastic, some stainless steel and plastic, but a large proportion are described as "metal" or not specified. As these units are very easy to change, I chose from meters in the typical cheaper range, as I knew they could easily be swapped out if they had short life spans. The Kudos product is described as made from "corrosion resistant materials", which I assume at this price point may not stainless steel, but treated some way to inhibit corrosion. As the heating system contains anti-corrosion inhibitor, I don't expect this to be a problem and can now see the flow rate to re-balance the system. Once the underfloor manifold is isolated and the pressure released, it takes only a couple of minutes to remove the faulty meter and replace it with the new meter. Make sure you check the flow rate the old meter is set at so you can match the setting with the new one. This is very easy to do - there are numerous You Tube videos showing how to change and adjust flow rate meters if in doubt. Having installed one of these, and monitored the system for a few days, I intend replacing the other three meters with the same make as they are easy to change, good value for money and seem to be well made.

Identical to the original
As ive recently installed an underfloor heating system and saw this flow valve, i thought , its well worth having a spare to hand in case one is required in the future. The flow is identical to the original in design and quality manufacture, so happy days! £9.49 at the time of my review, a goid price.

Good value replacement part
I used this flow meter to repair a Nu-Heat installation for a friend of mine, where one of the valves got clogged. Although this is a Vine review, I did shop around for a replacement part, and this is the cheapest I could find. The unit seals fine, and was an easy replacement: After isolating the manifold and relieving the pressure, I unscrewed the jammed one and replaced it with this - literally a 5 minute job.
