Now a Rocket Straps Fan
Spend the extra couple bucks over the "Amazon's Choice". After doing some research and comparing specs and reviews of the other top recommends on Amazon, I went with the Rocket Straps heavy duty cargo net. This net definitely has a heavier gauge cord and a solid carabiner when compared to the competition. I recently used it to make sure nothing was lost out of the truck bed on a camping trip. For anyone new to cargo nets, 4x6 is a good size for a short bed pickup (long bed too). If you are getting this to 8x12, you are doing some serious stretching. It really brought to my attention that I do not have enough tie down loops in the back of my truck.Pros:- Heavy duty cord- Tight weave so nothing slips through- Heavy duty carabiners (Lots of the competitors come with cheap ones that snap easily. These are solid.)- Plenty of carabiners to get the job done- Comes with a small motorcycle net. I have no use for it, but its cute, and a nice thought.- Comes with a nylon storage sack. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done, and keeps the net and carabiners contained when not in use.Cons:- The one negative I found is that the carabiners have some sharp points where the latch that can catch on the net as you attach them. Not a deal breaker, but I would be disappointed in myself if i snagged the cord and ripped open the sheath. I got out the Dremel tool and hit those corners a little to be safe.Pics:- Size comparison of the Rocket Straps bag next to some other truck/emergency stuff I keep in there.- Size and close up of a carabiner- An attempt to get the camera to focus on an example of the pointy carabiner corners I Dremel'd off of them.Other:I don't have daily need of a cargo net, so it will be a while before I have context of long-term durability. But, I will update the review if anything changes.

Solid product, very satisfied!
Recently bought a 2018 Toyota Tundra and needed a cargo net to keep our gear secure on the first camping trip of the season. My previous truck had a tonneau cover, so we never had to worry about things possibly flying out on the freeway. After looking around and comparing some similar options, I settled on this cargo net from Rocket Straps and couldn’t be happier. The net is heavy-duty and the webbing is tight enough to hold almost anything down in the bed of my truck. We traveled a couple hundred miles on our trip, much of which was at freeway speeds. There were also lots of windy/bumpy roads near the lake and nothing budged in the bed, so we were very pleased. For reference, my truck has a CrewMax cab and the bed is only about 5.5ft in length. This net covered the whole bed front-to-back and side-to-side easily, with plenty of stretch. Our gear was only slightly above the bed rails, but I am confident that we could pile things much higher and the cargo net would stretch to accommodate and keep things in place.I was also impressed by the heavy weight of the cargo net itself, it just feels durable and made to last. The included carabiner clips are nice and heavy-duty, not cheap and the carrying bag is nice as well. The bonus small net was a cool addition too, thinking about using that on our kayak to hold down fishing gear, tackle, etc.For the price, this is a solid product and a great purchase. I would happily recommend it to others.

Heavy duty design
Very pleasantly surprised. The description mentions that it is heavy duty but I have to say that it exceeded my expectations and that does not happen often. I bought this product based mainly on reviews and I have to say that the other buyers were absolutely correct. This is a great cargo net. I was definitely surprised by the weight of the net. I have no doubt that it will hold down anything that I put it on. I was a little skeptical about the clips but I have to say they are exactly as described. They are solid steel. I don’t foresee any issues. The manufacturer did not skimp on this product. The little bonus net is awesome. I plan to use it to hold stuff in my kayak. I bought this to cover a tarp that I use to cover my electric bikes in the back of my truck when I go camping. It use to be somewhat of a pain to get enough bungee straps on the tarp to prevent if from catching air while driving. This is going to save me time in securing my load and the load will be much more secure. I would absolutely highly recommend this product.

Quality,Quality,Quality, Need I say more!
I am in central Florida and as you might have heard a very bad hurricane is coming. I had just built(put togeather) a greenhouse for my wife. The greenhouse is rather flimze, plastic panels and inexpensive alum. channells, small screws cheap alum. base plates etc. No words in the directions only pictures etc. Finally got it togeather and then very high winds are to expected this labor day weekend(09/02 through 09/05). I was worried about the the blowing away and anchoring the house was limited. I saw your product while browzing Amazon looking for securing products. I got the idea about getting two(2) of these Rocket strap netting productis and putting them together useing the included attaching rings (Thanks) and putting them over the greenhouse and anchoring them to the ground with ground augers, works great and looks to be pretty secure. I would like to include a picture but I am not quite sure how to with the cell phone..............But like I said before the quality of these straps(nets) is far more than I expected for the price. I think they will outlast the greenhouse! But being in Florida I am sure this will not be the last hurricane that thse will be used for....Great service qnd shipping too. Will recommend these to any and all who askDavid Eide,[email protected]

Cargo net is EXCELLENT, but the storage bag isn't good.
Cargo net was purchased for a Tacoma long bed. It was tied down with bungee cords over a heavy tarp to contain & hide camping gear on a road trip to Chaco, NM. It was perfect and contained the tarp and gear. However, the storage bag disintegrated during that 1 trip when the net was stored and not in use. The cinch cord pulled out and ripped it. Disappointed in the storage bag.
