Every Child Should Have One
My 8 year old could only use our adult mouse with her thumb on the left button and her index finger on the right button. As a homeschool educator I understand the importance of doing something the proper way the first time, so as not to have to unlearn it later. Learning is hard, but unlearning is harder. This is the only wireless child sized mouse I could find and it came shipped straight from China. Thank you China; my 8 year old loves it! Now she can even use the scroll wheel.***update****This mouse does suffer from a couple of issues. One, it will not always wake up after going to sleep. Usually clicking one of the buttons will do it, but on a rare occasion it is necessary to remove and replug the USB receiver. However, I can not say with certainty that it is the fault of the mouse and not the operating system, or even something else. I can only say that I do not have this same problem with my other wireless mice. Two, I've noticed that keeping a cell phone too close to the mouse will significantly interfere with the receiver. Also, placing the receiver too close to a large speaker or placing any significant electromagnetic field in the line of sight between the mouse and receiver, such as a running area heater, will interfere with the signal. It is fair to say that some of these issues are universal to nearly all wireless devices. However, this device does seem particularly susceptible.Three, for reasons I can not reliably identify, when using an internet browser, the mouse appears to occasionally send a back-button command, which can be incredibly annoying and result in losing data that was entered into a web page. I have had this same problem with my Logitech wireless mouse but was able to shut off the "feature" using logitech's control panel. This mouse shouldn't even have the capability to send the signal and thus has no control panel to shut it off. Specifically, some mice have a button 3 and 4 which are used as backpage and forward in a browser. There is a free mouse utility called X-Mouse that provides a control panel for disabling individual mouse buttons. I have shut off buttons 3 and 4 and the problem hasn't happened since.I hope this helps.

Mouse FOR a Mouse
If you are an adult in the search of a quality mouse, either for yourself, your children or a gift, you’d be better suited to keep looking, and this is why:For an adult: This mouse is literally the size of a mouse. I really cannot say much more. The description is somewhat accurate, but please measure the device, and your hand to ensure this is a product that would suit your needs. It did not for me or any person of any age in my household. For a Child: I am not aware of a child that has a use for a computer at an age that would need a mouse this small. It is leas than the size of an adult palm, excluding fingers. For a Gift: If I received this as a gift, I would either think someone is playing a prank on me, or inside were tickets to Disney, to actually see Minnie Mouse in person.Lastly, even if you decide to give this tiny device a try, which I would second guess, upon the fact it is very tiny and is very cheaply made. The plastic piece feels like the new plastic matchbox cars entirely made of thin plastic weighing less than a feather. For the durability factor, if dropped by mistake, I would send you my regards to try to mail as many pieces back to the seller/manufacturer as you can gather that would be larger than the size of your fingertip. The mouse has this highly ineffective way of taking the top part of the mouse apart (once determined) to place the battery and the USB insert.Although I did not have any connection issues, but I only gave it one chance to see if it paired, and it did, as for one positive factor, as it did not matter to me at that point. Just get your ruler out and measure. And if you still want this, be sure to place it in a container that will not break. Because if this is placed in a child’s book bag, take the final resting photo of the mini-mouse at the end of a school day. In my humble opinion, this is not suitable, at this size and durability (or lack thereof) for any sensible, all laughing aside, situation.

Tiny Mice Great for Smaller Hands - and not so small and not so young
I own many computers, all of which use mice. I have different types (wired, wireless, Bluetooth) and sizes (from tiny to large, but most smaller in size). These are really nice wireless mice. I originally ordered two, and now I've ordered another seven. And no, I don't get freebies or paid to review these. It is too soon to comment on battery life, so I left that part blank. The only real comment I have is to ask the vendor why he markets just to little kids? I am a retired mathematics professor/ computer journalist who is short (5' 3") with correspondingly small hands, so I appreciate the size. So, Mr./Ms. Vendor, don't be so modest! Market these for the great small-sized mice they are - whether for a six-year-old or a Ph.D. mathematician with smaller hands!

Freezes frequently, goes through a lot of batteries
Stopped working after two weeks. Had to change battery daily. Mouse freezes, doesn't work. Size is great but product is not.
