I had a cheaper coaxial audio cable that did a good job and was excellent value for money, but I decided on an upgrade after purchasing a new CD transport player. The improvement is vast and immediately noticeable, much more detail, nicer tone, tighter control. I thought it may have a small case of diminishing returns, but its so much better. This interconnect doesn't cost a fortune, if you've spent hundreds or thousands on hi-fi equipment then it's a no-brainer to fork out a few quid more to ensure a quality system.

Connecting my WiiM Pro streamer to my iFi Zen One Signature DAC this cable gives a slight improvement over a freebie one. The improvement whilst only slight is still there and my system already sounded really good, so I'm quite happy with this purchase.

This cable didn't cost a lot of money. It does it's job for me, connecting an Audiolab 7000cd transport to a Schitt Audio multibit mk2 DAC. If you are starting out with proper hifi and looking at digital RCA cables. This should be on your list of decent starter cables. Chord are well respected in the world of audio cables.

No doubting the quality, as I'd expected from Chord. I bought it because I'd run out of analogue connections on my amp so needed something to go digital. My CD player sounds better analogue so that probably says the DAC is superior therein. It being digital the value of very expensive cable is debatable but I'm pretty sure this, now connecting my DAB (also better analogue), will stay in one piece. It plugs in nicely, not too tight but secure. It would be interesting to compare like with like but I'm afraid I can't do that, so 4 stars is a fair guess. You could spend a lot more and I think you'd be wasting your money

Using with a Marantz cd 5005 as a transport connected via coax to a Mission 778x amplifier sound quality & build quality is excellent, very happy with purchase & can highly recommend.

Had to return it as the shipping label was plastered onto to back of the original box, it should have been shipped inside an amazon box. Trust me on this...if you don't care about the risk to the original box, this cable is excellent
