Our cat loves to sit on the top of the piece of our couch that lifts up in the middle… he's fat. Eventually it broke the hinges. Thank god for the internet, I was able to find the exact hinges to fix it. (It's a reclining Ashley couch like the one in the picture from NFM if that helps anyone).

These are excellent hinges for small projects. They are made from a tough nylon.Excellent hinges and very tight.

These feel great. They are small and plastic - make sure that's what you want. The torque adjustment seems great. It's a simple screw that you adjust. It will probably loosen eventually, but you can adjust it easily enough.I'm making an enclosure for my 3D printer, and wanted to have a door that you could open and leave open or leave closed. These seem perfect for that - no need to worry about getting the door perfectly level.

As it ships, these hinges are extremely stiff, to the point you must exert a bit of force with both hands to open them. By loosening the screw almost to the point of removal, they go from extremely stiff to merely stiff, where you don't have the hinges' sharp edges dig into your fingertips to open them.At no point are they free-swinging normal hinges.During opening and closing, they feel "gritty," as if the axel was rough and unfinished.Surprisingly, they swing a full 270°.

Would we initially installed these, they worked well. We even bought a second set of them. But 2 days later I came back and they will not hold the window open anymore. No matter how much I tighten them. Not a good product. We do not recommend. Should have known for the price I guess.

Quality is not the best thing in these hinges. They work, but no too impressed with this (feel) of cheap plastic. But, it does work, and that's all, so, cannot take away more stars. Overall, it's not the best, but it's something that works.

Not nearly as stronge as advertised.
