Macally LAMPCHARGE-UK Table Lamp USB Charger with Touch Sensor

Having looked at many of this type of lamp I am pleased I chose this one, it is well built, reliable and works perfectly, the simple operation of a long tap (hold finger on for a couple seconds) turns it on and off and short taps will cycle through the three brightness settings, the dimmest being perfect for a night light and the brightest being perfect for reading in bed. The four USB charging sockets provide ample charging for even the most active tech user. All in all an extremely useful and well made product. I would recommend this to anyone.

Pretty much what I was looking for. It's nice having a dimmer next to the bed, when you don't want complete darkness but not too much light either. Nice gentle white lighting in general. (I'm not a fan of yucky yellow light myself.) All USB ports work - that's handy.The only downside is (and I'm not sure how they would change this, quite frankly), you need to hold the lamp to plug in a USB cable to it, and doing that turns off the lamp (obviously). It's might be good to have only the top be touch sensitive - and not the sides to avoid that problem. Nonetheless, a very nice and practical little lamp which does what it needs to do.

I bought this lamp as I needed something compact to sit on my bedside table and something that had three brightness settings. I often feel poorly in the night so like to have a dim light as well as a brighter light for reading, crosswords etc.The dim setting is perfect for me, it’s just the right amount of brightness so that you can see but not too bright that it keeps you awake.The medium setting is the perfect brightness for reading, although it does make a loud whirring noise when it’s on this setting. Could just be my model, could just be my sensitive hearing but it’s irritating all the same.The brightest setting is too bright for bedtime but would be good for lighting in a general area like a kitchen or living room.Also love that you can charge things with the USB ports - very handy. The light is very sensitive though so when you plug a USB in it alters the brightness.

Very neat and compact so doesn’t take up much space on small bedside table. I can charge my mobile overnight at my side instead of across the room. The light is adequate for my needs and easily operated. Can’t fault it. I’m very pleased.

It's a pretty,small touch lamp with 3 levels of brightness. It is not possible to read by but with several charging points,it would work best in a child's room,or as a second bedside light. It is very simple use witha simply touch to the top of the lamp.

Love this lamp. Small but 3 brightness levels with touch sensor, and 4 sockets which cuts down on plugs for charging phones etc. Plenty of room on bedside table now.

This is a great piece of kit. Very practical and easy to set up. Just the job for the bedside. The variable brightness is ideal.

Does what it's supposed to do. Not too bulky and having the USB charging ports is very convenient. We like it
