Expensive? Yes. But this is Plant-Based, not mineral-based. On her OBGYN's advice, my wife has been using this product for over 6 years and is very satisfied, re-ordering it regularly. You can actually swallow this one! It’s a slim tab and even kind of slides down your throat as opposed to the calcium tablets that seem like you’re trying to ingest chalk. It is plant based which I think makes a lot of sense. I’ve been using it for several years and I’m very pleased.

Have tried different calcium, thru the years and always had decreased bone density. These did improve my bone density slightly. Hoping that they continue to do the job. The benefit iof building bone density could be the added vitamins. They really do not have a flavor, intended to be swallowed. Unable to swallow pills, so I melt them in water. I recommend these supplements.

Have been using this product for some years now, mainly because it claims to be from Icelandic algae as the main source. However, since it has been acquired by P&G, I may be looking for an alternate source, since acquisitions usually result in a change in formulae. Am still unsure. I like the slim tabs because they can be easily divided into several doses. As far as "flavor" being an option, that is ridiculous...nobody in their right mind would chew them. Ditto for "absorbency"..how in the world would you know? They are not a paper product..They are easy to swallow, so that gets 5 stars. The other two questions MUST be given a star or you are not allowed to post your review, even tho the questions are ridiculous.
