works great!!!! love the belt holder!!! magnet is amazing . my suggestion for this product description , you should add best practices that if cutting wood to use in stove make sure you measure the stove again before purchase. I burn wood for my wood stove and I cut to the 16in length and unfortunately the depth of my stove is 15 inches so I can't fill up a large amount of space left over in the stove. am going to re asses next year , do I go to a larger cut length or get a 15 in rod

Seems to be solid, decent quality. The magnet is strong. The color is not as advertised.

Works as it should

expensive (for what it is), but this is a handy little tool that i wish i would have thought of years ago. The magnet is SUPER strong, even a bit of a pain to reposition if you are using it on a small saw blade and want to make sure it doesn't interfere with the chain. The belt clip and yellow color are nice features, too.

The measuring rod provides an easy way to cut consistent lengths of firewood that is much quicker than measuring by hand, using a tape measure. It is incredibly simple to use, though you must pay very close attention to the rod in order to get the links precise. We are generally between one and 2 inches off in either direction from the 16 inch mark when cutting quickly the magnet is very strong and stays well. I deducted two stars because there’s no practical way to use the full length of your bar. In fact you’re limited to about 3/4 of it and for this reason I feel there are better options. I find myself putting the rod on and taking it off more often than I would like.

Wish I had come up with this idea. Makes marking a tree easier.

Simple tool, but it works. Magnet is strong. I have used it a few times and I like using it. I does slow down the cutting process, but all the pieces are the correct length. It is a bit expensive for what it is. I am Happy with the purchase.

Aww WOW this thing WORKS!!! What a good idea for people like me who just cuts wood 1-2 times a year it makes cutting 16” a breeze. A seasoned pro wood cutter wouldn’t need this but for an average joe like me it just makes this job easier and faster. I almost lost it in the woods one time since I put it on the ground after I make my marks (yeah there is a belt hook that comes with it but putting on the ground is way faster) so I end up painting the rod to pink so it’s way more visible on the ground. This IS a 5+++++ star product, go get it!!! BTW the magnet on this product is very strong and won’t slip from normal use!!

The magnet is really strong. This is an easy and fast way to measure your bucks. It’s a little pricy for what you get but still a good product. One star less because I feel it’s overpriced.
