Q: Hi there, can anyone help with accessories because the little shaver bit is broken

I normally Google Philips spares and search on the spare parts sites that come up. The parts are not cheap but save the shaver going to the rubbish recycle centre.

Q: Are the included hair guards (16mm etc.) suitable for cutting beard hair instead of head hair? Thanks.

Only tried it once so far with the 3mm. It trims good in the sideburns area, but the chin area you'll need to go over quite a few times because of obvious reasons. I think it works well enough. But I haven't tried using the longer clippers for my beard.

Q: Why are there separate 3mm and 5mm body combs? Surely the 3mm/5mm setting on the adjustable comb delivers the same cut?

When I said using the 3mm comb I meant using the adjustable comb. Sorry for that
