This is a very important question, especially with so many unauthorized 3rd party sellers on Amazon. Yes, these do expire. The expiration date is 3 years from the manufacture date and is printed on the bottle. To be sure you're getting a fresh product, double check that you're buying directly from our EO storefront on Amazon before confirming your purchase, since these products are shipped frequently from our warehouse. Q: Is there a larger "refill" bottle of the spray to fill the small spray bottles? I know there is a refill size for the gel, but that is different

There isn’t. Only in the gel form I’m aware of.

Q: Can this be sprayed to disinfect the air?

According to government rules we can make no claims that our EO® Hand Sanitizer disinfects the air (or hard surfaces for that matter). Hand sanitizers are designed specifically to disinfect hands and are labeled as such. However, what we can tell you is that we know everyone has areas that don't always smell great. Our homes, cars and closets pick up a lot of smells (e.g. dogs and kids). There is no reason why you can't use a hand sanitizer to add a gentle, pleasant and natural scent to the air.As for our product, be assured organic ethanol (our main ingredient) is a natural disinfectant that does no harm when absorbed into skin or our ecosystem. 99.9% effective against most common germs EO® Hand Sanitizers made with natural and organic ingredients, are non-GMO, Cruelty Free, Triclosan Free, Synthetic Fragrance Free, Gluten Free, and are scented with beautiful smelling essential oils that leaves hands subtly scented, refreshed and clean.
