Wow! It worked exactly as I expected on my first vehicle so I bought a second one for my second vehicle and it also worked exactly as expected.In my experience, technology like this rarely works as expected, so we either have to just put up with it "kinda" working or we return it. I plugged it into the USB port where I was plugging in my phone to have Android Auto on my "Info-tainment system", connected the phone to the Bluetooth on the device and it just worked.I have an older Pixel 7 Pro and I think the USB-C port is just worn out, so the data coming from the phone to the car's radio would just drop out and I'd have to re-plug the USB-C connector to get it working again. Now it just always works as the device connects first with Bluetooth and then switches over to Wi-Fi without any work on my part. If the charging is intermittent due to the worn out USB-C port, I don't notice it and the phone charges just fine.It is very small so it fits off to the side where it doesn't interfere with other items and they include some double sided tape to anchor it down.

Vehicle: 2022 Ford ExplorerThis adapter is excellent. Installation was very easy. Android Auto works flawlessly and is just as responsive as if my phone was connected with a USB cable. I haven't experienced any lag or connection issues.There are only two very minor things:1. A slightly longer cable would be nice.2. I'd prefer if the adapter was available with a USB C end so that that A to C adapter wasn't needed.Those two things aren't dealbreakers, and I can't recommend this adapter highly enough.

The unit connects to Android auto as It should. 2019 Ram LaramieWhen using maps that is where the problem arises.Every time there Is a notification from the map my all my speakers turn off with the exception of the right front door speaker, which is so low you can hardly hear it. To remedy this i have to turn my system off then turn it back on but the next notification it does the same thing. This just started doing this after my 30 days ran out, which was 3 days ago so now I'm stuck with this trash. Save yourself some time and find a better option.

Hate it continues to connect to my phone with my truck off in my driveway while I'm inside. And after a making a phone call and repeatedly choosing headset it reconnects very aggravating. And since getting the device and connecting to my phone initially been dealing with lag and apps crashing. It's convenience does not put way the inconvenience at this point I'll just plug my phone in each time I drive it's honestly not that hard id return but didn't keep the box.
