So far, this machine has performed as expected. I haven't machine sewn in many years, so I'm getting reacquainted. It's easy to use & seems fairly sturdy. I do wish that the metal pressure foot plate was larger, to accommodate magnetically attached curbs, etc.

Absolutely the worst POS ever! heavy duty my a** will sew 2 pieces of fabric BUT 3 pieces of fabric won't sew 3 stitches.

Excelente, aunque tenía una expectativa de que sería más fuerte y podría manejar más telas, era un regalo para mi madre y ella me comenta que al ser tan ligera no lleva algunas telas que quizá ella esperaría pudiese manejar. 8/10

It was packaged well with styrofoam and cardboard to prevent damage during transport. It was easy to set it up and get the bobbin filled and the sewing machine tested just based on the picture instructions. Not sure what all the internet hate is about Singer HD. Its good for home use. It is not heavy. It comes with a fabric cover that you can put on top of it to prevent dust from entering.

What is sewing machine for my grandson? He is the designer he loves. It works great for him. That’s what he expected to do. So easy to thread. He said all the functions perfectly and it’s got a lot of power behind it. He can so whatever he needs. He’s sold seats for his dad’s boat.
