I loved the magnetic stick option, I wanted this for airplanes rides so I could watch videos, edit photos, do work, and ultimately have privacy. The product itself looks 'good' but is horrible in practice. Mine seems to have a wave to it even though the package came in tact. To make it worse, on the suggested brightness which we all know is kind of dim, I can completely see the content on my screen. I literally have to look at it sideways to have it turn black. It works better under lower brightness settings but I can still see everything. If your only looking to blur words it may work for you. If your like me and want to work on private PowerPoints and edit pictures everyone will be able to see what you are doing. Other co-workers have the 3M privacy screens and those actually work but you have to stick them on permanently.

Liked it so much, I got a second for a co-worker as a gift. The magnetic attachment works great, especially with the keyboard to further hold it exactly where you want it. The matte display takes out all of the glare, making it much easier on the eyes and fingerprints are near invisible. The screen is a comfortable brightness on even the Windows 10 "Darker" setting, and even fine in low light in the "Darkest" setting. It is NOT a 360/4-Way privacy screen. You can still see if the screen is in portrait mode. However, it's not advertised to be either.

There are two issues with this privacy filter. First, it doesn't really offer much privacy unlike a 3M privacy filter. Second, and far worse, it seems to interfere with the keyboard as it messes up the magnetics. I constantly have to disconnect the keyboard and reconnect as the mouse suddenly stops working. My colleagues were not experiencing similar issues so I swapped keyboards with others and still had the issue. Then I realized this filter was the only other variable. Once I removed it, I no longer had any issues!

Don't recommend over the traditional 3m "stick-on" privacy screen for the Microsoft Surface because:a) magnetism interferes with the touchscreen meaning either pointer stuck in top left corner and you can't do anything because surface thinks your finger is there or when powering on out of standby see a blank screen and can't start windows without a force power downb) slides all over the place especially when opening and closing the surfacec) doesn't offer as much privacy as the 3M filterd) costs twice as much as the 3MAfter a few weeks of use I threw it out and bought a 3M stick on privacy filter which works great

Love it... the magnetic screen is so easy to use and I like having the option to take it off... I like that it has matte and gloss options.. only down side, if it even is a downside, I have a surface pro 3, if the screen is on I can’t hit the home button on the side.. but there is a home button on the screen I can hit instead...

Purchased for my plane ride, however, it didn't block from the right angle. The gentleman right next to me could still see part of the screen, not all, but some.

I had to have this for school and I kind of expected it to be junk, but it's really nice! The size is perfect and the magnetic on/off is very convenient (although only the sides on the surface pro are magnetic, so unless you have the keyboard holding the bottom part down it sort of slides) And the touch screen still works (not as sharp, but not bad). It blurs the screen a little bit, but overall I'd recommend.

Fast and easy to put on. In fact there is nothing to do, as it magnetically attaches. No worries about bubbles. But the issue is that when using a pen or finger on touch screen, you have to press harder on all edges in order for the screen to react. In those situations when I need to use this as a tablet with a touch screen I do take my screen protector off and then back on when using standard keyboard.
