Does the job but be patient with application
I needed to repair my fiberglass steps which were cracked after someone (no longer a friend) used a sharp blade to chop off ice - big crack. The directions are clear and easy to follow. Be advised that the resin is clear and the fiberglass cloth is white so you see it when it's dry. Work fast and make sure you have gloves and disposable pans and brushes on hand for the job. I was able to paint it after it dryed and it is SOLID. If you intend to paint the surface after you're done - great. You can be sloppy but if you're not, then look up adding color to the resin to help with the blending. If you need, do some tests sites with the color to get a good blend. They give you a generous amount of fiberglass cloth and it streches when applied. Overall, it was worth the effort and learning curve cause our stairs look better than before - he guy that broke them is no longer welecome.

Good working time, perfect amount to replace floor section in boat after tank replacement. Pretty affordable compared to local shops.

Works great! Very strong, especially if you use multiple layers of fiberglass mat and resin.
Used it to reinforce a weak floorboard section in a 50 year old car. There were a few pinholes showing through, but floor was basically sound. So I sanded the interior side of the floorboard down, and applied 3 separate layers of resin and fiberglass mat, to seal, strengthen, and protect the floor. I used a stiff, cheap disposable "chip brush" to brush the resin into the fiberglass mat, and press the mat down. Just lay the mat down on the surface first, and brush the resin through the mat. Resin and hardener work fine, unless it is a really cold day... Then, you must use a heat gun, or space heater to get the temperature up to normal room temperature, so that it will harden. Because the kit I ordered uses the random strands of glass (fiberglass mat) it is much stronger than the fiberglass cloth. The amount of hardener included, was plenty enough to harden the gallon of resin. Just use the amount of hardener recommended, don't try to over catalyze the resin by using too much hardener. I used a disposable plastic measuring cup, to measure out each resin pour. Be sure to have good ventilation, and a pair of disposable gloves are a great idea.
