A bit thinner than what I'm used to but it did the job and produced delicious smoky flavor for my salmon when I let the board smolder

These are my go to cedar planks for Smoked Salmon
These add good flavor to salmon or other fish and they are big enough to hold a fairly good size salmon filet.

Total waste...
These didn't smell or look like cedar. They left an odor on the food that completely changed the taste. I will not order again.

Love char-grilled salmon with cedar planking
I grill my salmon on these on my green egg. I submerge these in the sink for an hour or so and then throw the salmon on them and put them on a hot grill. I use a digital thermometer and take them off at 135 deg F. They continue to cook to 145 when I serve them, still on the plank. The cedar flavor boils up thru the wood, permeating the fish. All the wood sides are charred. Guests love it.

Great quality, great aroma.
We purchased these for our bar/restaurant where we make cocktails in a "smoked" glass. These planks are much better quality than the previous ones I purchased from a different vendor. The appearance is appealing, nice and thick with no warping and I like the logo-looks professional. The plank easily produces cedar "smoke" when lightly torched and gives a great, smokey aroma. Highly recommend.

The back of the package indicates Cedar Planks -New and "Made in China". There is no reference to the source of the wood on the packaging. I have not used them yet but they are very thin as a previous reviewer indicated. I am suspect about the 1 - 2 hr soaking direction in the description in Amazon. My experience with thicker (8mm which I'd say is double these) was 15 minutes for salmon which only takes 12 min to cook. They may work fine for fish but note the thinness and ambiguous origin.
