I love this mounting kit. I bought some long traction boards to mount to my roof rack which is an aftermarket extruded aluminum type for my 2018 Toyota 4runner. What I really like about this kit is that it gives you options. You can mount the boards perpendicular to the vehicle or in line. I opted for in line and was Thankful this kit allowed me to do it. Either way, the kit seems very sturdy and I love that the knobs are solid Aluminum mated to good metal bolts. The holes at the end of the bolts are perfect for locks to keep would be thieves at bay. I believe the holes for the locks are 1/4 inch around but make sure you measure before you buy locks for it. Don’t take my word for it. The bolts do stick up a little high so if you have clearance issues in a parking garage or going through a drive-through car wash, etc. you need to be aware of the new height of your vehicle to avoid damage. I noticed that overtime the black anodizing on the knobs has taken on kind of a bronze tone. I think it actually looks kind of good so no complaint from me. I’m not sure if it was supposed to do that but that’s what happens when you live in San Antonio. The sun is harsh. It was very easy to install, and it was inexpensive compared to other so-called bigger brand names. I liked it so much that I ended up purchasing their quick tire deflating kit very nice products from this manufacturer, and I am looking forward to more of their offerings.

The kit is very well made of high quality Aluminum and Stainless materials and appears b uilt to last a long time. I found it easy to adapt to my unique combination of bed rack and traction boards. The mounts are easy to use once installed allowing you to remove and replace the traction boards in seconds. There are nice extra features like anti rattle cushions and the ability to put a paddlock on each of the 4 mouning pins. My only complaint would be that there are no short mounting bolts included, only 3 inch long ones.

Fits my AC-DK traction boards perfectly. You will need your own t-bolts if you use a Prinsu rack. It does not come with a lock. Good quality and sturdy.

I have a Cali Raised roof rack on my 4runner. I needed something that could mount to almost anything and still provide a quick and easy access to my recovery boards. This worked perfectly. They are super easy to get the tightening bolts on and off and easy to lock in with a third party lock. My ONLY complaint is the black gets blasted by UV and they turn a copper gold. This happened on another black metal mount so it must be a thing. Nevertheless they work great and are reasonably priced.

The mount itself is good enough but 3 of the 4 nut/screw sets stopped threading about 1/2 way into tightening. I had other nuts and bolts from other products but adequate nuts and bolts is a no-brainer and something that I should not have to supply.

This was one of the worst things I’ve ever tried to put together. The instructions were pretty much useless, the bolts were long I had to go to the hardware store and buy my own. It is not very universal. You have to have bars going a specific way for it to fit.. works better with flatter roof rack. Mine was more round and it didn’t hug well. The quality was OK, but it ended up bending by the time I tightened it.. I mounted it to my roof rack and still had to zip tie just to be sure because it was not very durable.

These worked perfect for mounting our ARB recovery boards to the top of our prinsu roof rack rack on our Land Cruiser.

I didn't use the brackets. I was able to mount the studs to my prinsu rack and mount my boards perfectly.

Sturdy and strong. Bolted these to a molle panel on my roof rack to hold 2 traction boards made by X- Bull

You may require two kits if you plan on installing the traction boards front to back on your roof. 3/5 because the nut became stuck half way up one of the bolts requiring an angle grinder and a trip to the local hardware store
