I get a lot of commentary on the impact of these glasses. Very comfortable in the hand, lovely to look at, and an interesting bottom once the sip has finished. I think Lysenn has knocked it out of the park, or the manufacturer from whom they’ve purchased has. The golden glitter in a tiny indentation bubble at the bottom of the glass doesn’t sit still, it sort of migrates around the bubble with a little water pocket and gives a little sparkle here and there. The hammer finish is understated, so that the cup doesn’t feel gravelly or thin, but rather very thick and just with a minor texture that captures the light. There's a touch of a quality control issue, as the stamp is just off center for one of my glasses, but how often do you look at the bottom of the glass?Functionally, a perfect volume for a double OF, at just over 10oz on my measurement. Holds a 1" block flat, but will tilt your larger rocks onto a vertex, which oddly enough, gives a neat look to the shape. I’ve got a pic attached here of a recent sip using these at my bar, so that you can judge the impact for yourself. The drink is called "Without a Trace," a standard short pour cocktail, and you’ll find it in Kurt Maitland’s text, "Drink."These come packaged in a pearl cotton which I very much appreciate. Having several thousand pieces of glassware makes it nearly impossible to store each piece of glass individually—way too much work. The tightness of this box and the indestructibility of that pearl cotton makes this set great for stacking and storing within the 'tetris' of my strange glassware storage system, and also for easy retrieval.Overall, these are a delight to add to my stupidly large collection, and for volume, presentation, structural integrity, and storage functionality, they are easily a 5 for me.

UPDATE (April 2024) :: I've reduced my stars from five to three because the bottom plugs fell out, and the gold flecks along, with an oily liquid the flecks were in, are draining out of the bottom. I hand wash these and definitely don't soak them in water, so this is a real bummer. I've loved using these and they are so pretty.November 2023 :: I've been looking for a simple set of whiskey glasses for my husband and me. I've tried a few other types but they were either too light, or the rim was too thick. These glasses are perfect: a decent weight that feels great in the hand, along with a just-right rim. The gold accents are really lovely and elevate the look of these glasses to another level. Whether you're having friends over, or just a simple evening at home, you won't regret getting a pair of these. We are so pleased with them!

These are beautiful glasses! From the gold rim to the bubble of gold flakes in the base, I was very impressed. They are a heavy weight with a hammered design that is very subtle. They're apparently not lead crystal but you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. With a large 10oz capacity there's plenty of room for a large ice cube or ice ball and still be able to swirl the liquor and enjoy the aroma. I don't know why whiskey glasses in general are marketed for men, but this woman loves these glasses enough that I've already placed an order to buy another set. Highly recommended.

Just like another review that has photos, the 2" wide plastic plug on the bottom fell out when we opened the box. The oil and small gold flakes contained in the cavity flowed out.

These are very, very solid-feeling, the kind of glasses you remember your parents owning when you were younger. I love a substantial glass, and this fits the bill perfectly. They look great, and have that satisfying "clunk" when you place them on a table. The gold rim is a nice touch, not too garish but enough to elevate the look.Proof these are good: I got these "free" as part of the Vine review program, but I'm buying (paying for) another set or two so we can make these our standard cocktail glasses. I can't give a higher recommendation than that!

My husband loved these as part of his valentine gift. They have extra details I didn’t notice until they arrived. At the bottom there’s a blown piece with flakes of gold that look so cool. He makes old fashions like a pro now.

Got these for my husband for Christmas and these are even better looking in person! I’m obsessed and I don’t even use them!! So so happy I got them! The gold accent is everything!
