It really works!
The media could not be loaded. Our cat Hanje was diagnosed with asthma last year, and our vet recommended the Aerokat device to help give her her inhaler twice a day. That was in December 2024. I had little hope that she would tolerate it and waited to post this review until I knew it worked and would hold up. She's a pretty feisty girl. We did have some struggles in the beginning, but I would be calm yet firm with her and give her a treat afterwards, and now she handles it like a champ. In my video, you can see what happens when she balks a little bit. I have my hand behind her head, giving firm yet very gentle pressure to guide her head back to the correct position, and I talk to her gently. (Don't worry - I'm not choking her! The pressure is very gentle, as I said.)Because Hanje knows she's going to get a treat afterwards, she starts drooling as soon as we start with the inhaler, so the Aerokat can get pretty gross inside. The nice thing is that it's fairly easy to take apart to clean. Just make sure it's dried out completely before putting it back together, or the little flo-vu indicator flap might not work properly. The size of the silicone face cup is just right for her, but she has a pretty common face shape and size. I understand some folks with more flat-faced cats have had difficulties. Before we started giving her the inhaler, she would have coughing fits 10 - 20 times a day. It was heartbreaking! Now, she doesn't cough at all. That's how we know the Aerokat is working and delivering the medication to her.

High Price but High Reward
With all due respect, my cat does not like this thing. However, she tolerates it, and it has a space where I know that she's breathing in her inhaler. Not a fan of the price, but it does so everything it's supposed to, and it saves my baby when her medication isn't quite cutting it so 5 stars for keeping my girl healthy.

My cat’s overall treatment
Having this product was a godsend due to the fact that my 3 year old tabby has developed a chronic allergy which then turned into cat asthma. At first she was timid and reluctant on the usage so bit by bit we’ve attempted to ween her on that and keep her at a comfortable position when using it. It is the perfect size and it is well made on its design!

Brand name is best!!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Ive uaed this before and it works well. I can alsontell that the cat is getting the inhaler by a "flap" that moves everytime he inhales.

The design helps with administering the correct dose.
Too bad I needed this product, but so thankful for such a product to administer asthma medicine to a cat. The best part is the flap that helps you count the number of breaths the cat is taking to get the vet recommended dose.

Great Product
Super easy to use. Love that I can see the little flapper to count the breaths my cat takes. Seems to be great quality. The mask is not a hard plastic so it’s comfy to my cat’s face.

Only one you should ever buy!
The only cat inhaler attachment you should ever buy. Yes it’s a tad more expensive but when it comes to whether or not your pet can breathe if they get their medicine you only want the best! The Aerokat is it!

Works great
So far the device works great. I love the flap that tells you each time my cat breaths. FYI, the small face mask would only fit a kitten or toy dog. My cat doesn’t take to medical treatment very well, but she sits very still when using the device. I Will update to see if it lasts. 4 stars due to the price. Very pricey. I’m sure it didn’t cost very much to manufacture. Would buy again to save my cat.
