Soul retrieval is a tool used by shamans to help us heal through the various traumas that we can go througout our life . Ingerman explains it very clearly and in a gentle way , offering the tools to practice it ourselves. Reading the book makes the concepts easy to digest . The book is a brilliant gateway to the world of modern shamanism, derived from the original shamans and integrated by modern western practicioners. I'd recommend the book to anyone , even those who don't know what shamanis is at all. It is a great read to those interested in therapy or those who have suffered in life and can't understand why they can't move forward

The books you read when people walk their talk are the best and there are many firsthand encounters recounting meaningful healing journeys in Sandra's book, along with historical accounts - you get drawn into the history of Shamanism, which dates back tens of thousands of years.

I’ve recently trained as a Hypnotherapist and we briefly covered the subject of soul retrieval’s on my course. I wanted to know more about this and the book is very informative. It’s well written and provides a checklist of symptoms related to clients who would benefit from a soul retrieval. It explains what a soul retrieval involves, the benefits and the work needed after the therapy. Soul retrieval’s utilise a shamanistic approach which is very spiritual. There is also information at the end of the book about training workshops. Well worth reading!

Easy to understand. the book is written for a variety of audiences, but I used it as an introduction to Shamanic Healing. Excellent descriptive writing.
