I'm using these with Sennheiser HD 465 headphones. They do fit, but it's not easy and there are no instructions. You have to remove the old foam pads, which can be discarded, except for the black plastic ring that holds each one in place. On the back of the new pads, there's an elastic nylon skirt and the plastic ring fits under it. This is the difficult bit, as it is really tight. I found the best way was to fold the skirt back up over the pad, hold the ring in place and then bring the skirt back down over it, working around the ring. It's as difficult to describe as it is to do. However, once it's on, you then clip the ring back into the headphone and you're done. They are more comfortable to wear for long periods and cleaner.

I really regreted buying this without first reading the negative reviews. Apparently there was previous user having the same problem with me. This one is too big for HD 485. On the title it says HD 485 (status Aug 2014) but it doesn't fit for HD 485. Totally wasting time.

The supplied pads were small for my Sennheiser HD 465 headphones, and completely impossible to put on despite much effort - and as such they had to be returned.

These earpads do not work on the HD485. They are too large and are not the correct earpad. The description should be changed.

found these to be too loose with hd 485 so could not recommend them,though they might suite the other models mentioned

I purchased these replacement earpads for my Sennheiser HD465's after the originals, which were just pieces of thin padded foam, became too flattened and started to hurt my ears after only a short while.These replacements are actual ear pads, that let the ear sit naturally inside them and are therefore much more comfortable. As other reviewers have said they are a few millimetres too large at the bottom but it is barely noticeable and they look, work and install just fine - just pull off the old earpads and use the plastic ring to put inside the new, clipping them back on. Great product and arrived promptly too.
