Best varnish I have ever used.
The varnish does not smell, paints on well, dries in half an hour, looks great. Best varnish I've ever used.

Super quick drying
This stuff was easy to apply and work with, i used it to varnish some upcycled drawers and it applies smoothly, dries really quickly into a clear kind of satin finish, theres no strong toxic smells either. Great stuff, will be using again.

Does the job
I have taken up up cycling old furniture and needed some varnish to give a nice finish to a gin cabinet I made out of an old writing desk.Initially when it arrived, I thought I would be buying some more very soon due to the size of the tin but this goes a long way and is great quality.I would highly recommend this product to anyone and will be buying more to use on my future projects to start up my business.

Easy to apply, darkens the wood slightly, shows off the grain
The varnish looks opaque but dries clear. It gives excellent coverage, because of its thin consistency which was perfect for me as I wanted to apply lots of very thin coats. The first couple of coats stayed tacky for a really long time, nearly 3 days each, but that might have had something to do with the unusually warm weather this July. The subsequent coats (I applied 5 in total) dried solid in no time at all. I used it on a beautiful piece of bare ash. The varnish both darkened the wood and yellowed it, but to a small extent, and it brought out the grain which all in all made the wood look mellow and quite lovely. As for the satin part, in reality the more coats you apply, the glossier the finish. I ended up with full-on mirror shine and a bit of a plasticky look, but this was easily remedied by sanding the last coat very lightly with fine grade sandpaper. The tin clearly states that this product is only suitable for interiors, and also that it is not suitable as a floor varnish. The smell is there, but nothing too toxic; I am very sensitive to fumes, and I didn't get headaches. And it was great to be able to clean the brush with just water and washing up liquid.I also applied it in a small patch on white-painted wood, and it did not change the white colour at all, so I would say that one thin coat of this varnish will work well as a protective finish to painted furniture. But I would recommend you do a small test patch first.

lines and bubbles
I like this stuff, but it dries too fast and leaves brush lines or roller bubbles in it.. You need to flood the area on a cold day for best results, which as we live in UK is not hard to do, but anyway, It seals MDF and thats what matters. Sorry only 3 stars due to lines and bubbles

Varnish.
I quite like this product but it does bubble up a bit when putting it on salt pastry ornaments (which is what I bought it for and not what it was made for) A little goes a long way though so its value for money. It does work though as a coating to harden off delicate things like salt pastry flowers .
