I have delayed my report on these headphones as i have similar ones and wanted to give a long term test. Having had these for several months i can confirm these G9 are excellent value and have maintained their standard in audio quality, comfort and battery life. I have different versions from this manufacturer and these are my favourite everyday and at home use. I really like the G7 for office because of the excellent noise cancelling boom and easy to wear all the time when in the office... but because i can take the boom off these and still maintain good call and voice quality i only need to add the boom if excessive noise around me. So i can easily get on with everyday things without the neighbours and visitors looking at me strangely... it helps that my hair covers the ear pieces. My only regret it that there is not an app or means of knowing the level of battery or adding a little more control of features, but the battery lasts couple of days easily and so has not been a problem.Highly recommended.The only reason i have not given sound quality max points is that there is not the ability to adjust its profile,bass etc but for all round listening and voice clarity it is excellent.

I have previously owned the G2 version of these similar headsets. I think there are some improvements.1. It is a bit more compact compared to the G2. The curves on the earpiece are a more snuggle fit which is very helpful to me as I have problems with the G2 falling off or not sitting there snugly. This also reduces a lot of noise transmission to surroundings.2. Better sound quality. It is quite clear.3. The fact that it is not an in-ear headset is a huge plus for me as I always used to get headaches with in-ear headsets. But no issues at all with these ones.4. Removeable microphone: It is a new feature in this version G9. The mirophone itself is quite compact and can be turned around. So I have never been bothered with it. I used the headset to make call or hear songs on the way for the school run when I also have a buggy to push. It also works perfectly for work. Can't say the 'removable' feature is a useful addition. At least it is not for me, as if I remove then have to be careful where I store or I could easily loose it. I hope it does not fall off accidentally while it is connected.5. Connection on a laptop or phone is super quick and easy.6. Very lightweight and compact. The packaging is very compact, it was dropped off via our letter hole on the door.7. Connect to 2 different devices at a time works. I tried connecting to both phone and laptop. I could not connect to the laptop initially as YouTube was running in my phone. But when I stopped it, it was discoverable on the laptop. Once connected to the laptop, I tried listening to video on the laptop and then on the phone, we don't hear both parallelly, but if we pause one, we can hear from the other.5. Connection is super easy and quick.Overall good. A minor suggestion, an adjustable wire length between the ears would have been amazing. It is a bit lengthy for me.

The media could not be loaded. I very rarely write reviews, but I have done so on this occasion because I am so impressed with the product. I have bought a great many earbuds and headsets, most of which have left me very disappointed. However, in this instance, I am exceedingly surprised how good this product is for the money. It came well presented, which I should stress is the second unit I have purchased, this one being for my wife. I am exceptionally pedantic concerning build and sound quality, and after linking the headset to both my iPhone and tablet at the same time, together with my laptop later which it did within seconds, I played a number of variations of music to test the audio quality. Firstly, I was surprised at the sound levels. This is often a problem for me, but even at quarter volume, it was more than adequate. More importantly, the bass levels were excellent, and the EQ settings on my mobile telephone provided a substantial variation in sound options to suit all my eclectic tastes.I really like the boom mike that can be removed very easily as it is magnetic. This improves a telephone call whether indoors or outdoors, but you do not need to use it to carry out a call; it works perfectly well without the boom being attached. The controls are very easy to use with simple press buttons for volume, next or previous tracks, and call answering all close together on the right side of the headset. Because the unit sits on the outside of the ear, I have been able to wear it all day without any discomfort. The battery life has also proven to be very good. I am currently up to six hours of constant use and have not recharged it. The main reason for purchasing tis item was to use it during gym and running sessions. It works really well despite being in a sweaty environment, and the bluetooth range is considerably better than anticipated.Exceptional product and I definitely recommend it. Great present for yourself or anyone else for very little money.

A disappointing headset.The magnetic microphone is just a gimmick, and they would have done better to concentrate on the sound quality and frequency response of the headphones and the sensitivity of the microphone.3/10
