Comfortable and easy to put on
I’ve used a bulky 3m mask in the shop for years. I still do if I’m messing with something nasty. But this mask is so easy to put on, is lightweight and way more comfortable. I font think it seals nearly as well as the bulky 3m masks, but I am more like to put this one on because it’s so easy and comfortable. It also does not block your vision.

Great company, however the mask wasn’t quite right for my needs…
First off, I gotta say I appreciate this company for their quality and excellent customer service.I bought this mask hoping it would be the holy grail mask for me. I am a knife maker so I spend a lot of time at the grinder wearing a mask. I dislike the feeling of rubber on my face for extended periods, so this seemed like it could be the perfect solution. While it is more comfortable to wear than my rubber mask, it is a bit bulkier at the nose, which made it difficult to find the right balance with my safety glasses without fogging. Perhaps it’s just trying to tell me to ditch the glasses and use a face shield, which would probably be better anyways. It is well made and once it’s adjusted properly (it does take a little more effort to get it to fit just right) it seems to filter quite well. All in all, I think it’s a good product, it just didn’t end up being my holy grail mask.Note: RZ mask reached out to me unprompted after my initial review and offered a full refund, so props to them for great customer relations!

Very Comfortable, but not a “miracle” mask- although N95 can stuff it
Definitely one of the most comfortable masks, if not the most comfortable, I’ve worn. It has some really nice foam protection on the nose, that actually conforms to the usual gaps bt your cheek and nose, so the seals are better (with a comfy bonus) than an N95. I thought the 3 strap option was a little gimmicky, I saw a review that stated they preferred X, so I figured that was the “good one”… but seriously, having several options is really really nice- especially if you’re a woman and wear a ponytail or have a smaller or bigger head.If you’re required to have a rated one for work, this won’t be your jam but if you’re simply skeptical about it bc it doesn’t technically have a rating (remember those ratings cost companies a lot of money to get), in my experience, I’ve actually found the M3 superior to the 3M N95s…maybe bc it conforms to your face better, bc of the dual air valves, or maybe just bc I don’t feel the need to take this off 50 million times a day like a super hot and uncomfortable N95. Plus I notice pretty quickly if a mask sucks due to some very dumb PPE decisions when I was younger, my lungs are little prima donnas… Even just for particles, I get shortness of breath (at minimum) with most masks I’ve tried, short of a respirator, but I bought this for airbrushing non toxic, water based acrylic and haven’t had any issues. If you’re looking for a good quality mask, for non toxic particles- like sanding, non toxic water based spray paint, this is a great option if you’re wanting to avoid an uncomfortable respirator... the best mask is one you’ll actually wear. And this one does fit the bill, but just remember this isn’t recommend it for any toxic paints, resin, fumes or anything like that… non toxic particles only. But the reviews stating “I feel like I’m not even wearing a mask” are over stated… If your environment is hotter, you’ll still get a little of the stuffy/sweaty stuff if you wear it for really long periods. But definitely better than a regular mask (with no or only one air valve). I don’t have problems with my safety glasses fogging up. Truthfully, any mask that has a good enough filter to use with sanding particles/non toxic particles is going to be thicker- if it doesn’t restrict air flow a little then it’s probably not good enough protection. So this shouldn’t be a deal breaker for you- all the other masks will likely be worse… and this one is comfortable and good quality. Just don’t be expecting the miracle mask lol, and I think you’ll be happy with your purchase. If I lost it tomorrow, I’d buy another ASAP

Keep your lungs healthy
All the YouTubers in the woodworking community have been talking up the RZ Mask for a while so I figured I’d see if it lived up to the hype. I had been using the 3M style with the attachable filters on each side previously… and the RZ mask is so much more comfortable. I’m a big fan of having the different ways of strapping it to my face as my previous mask only had the one that secured to the top of my head, which is awkward when you’re wearing a hat.All in all, glad I picked it up and I’m getting a lot of use from it. There’s loads of ways to protect your breathing in woodworking but this RZ mask has been the best for comfort. It’s comfortable enough to where I just put it on and leave it on for the duration of the time I’m in my shop. Did it live up to the hype?… absolutely. It’s my new go-to for protecting my lungs from sawdust.

Less functional than my cheap masks that work much better.
The section that should be the thinnest, is the thickest, with a strip of foam, the actual filter going up much higher than necessary, the outer layer of the mask, plus a metal strip. You can see stuff far away in front if you, but it completely blocks your vision for important things you're working on like saws, blades, measurements. It's much more a danger to have your vision partially blocked.Even the pictures they use in their promotional pamplet shows people obviously not getting real work done. One model has the mask actually over his safety glasses...and you can see the mask would be blocking his vision for anything at hand level.I spent over an hour trying to adjust this mask in any way were it wasn't bulging right in your line of sight...but just went back to my old mask. I need to see what I'm working on.Maybe one day I'll cut off the metal strip, the inner mask as a filter doesn't need to be up there, it just needs to be thin and make a seal...to see if I can hack together a usable mask.Might be good for sand blasting a wall, or work where you're looking up...but for my use it will never work out.For this price, I expected a little more thought to go into functional design and less adding weight to add the logo on each side.

Replacement filters not sold on amazon
Not sure where to buy filters for this mask. Other than that it's great.
