I picked this book up because I love reading about WWII. I initially thought this was a picture book similar to the "Images of America" series. Oh, was I wrong, this is a very detailed look at Camp Haan. The author included pictures and details you don't see in WWII books. The author provides a unique perspective on how the "Big Army" impacted the camp at the local level during the building phase.What ultimately blew me away was that the author included a LARGE table with the building numbers and descriptions of every building on the camp.- Easy Read- Great pictures- Great Local History
