This eliminates the need to carry a car seat if you have a toddler
I have not actually used this yet, taking my first trip with my grandson who's three. Of course we have a car seat but it is so big, bulky and heavy and I wouldn't be able to handle it, so this is a better option for me and it's FAA approved. I believe it's going to work just fine!

I purchased this for an upcoming trip solo with a baby under 14 months. As I was placing the harness on the seat, the flight attendant walked by and kindly told me that I could not use it. They require the harnesses with a red strap or coloring that indicates it meets FAA safety measures. I ended up putting this in my carry-on bag and returning it to Amazon.
