Kept drink cold but not for as long as advertised
First off, I have to say I like the way this cup is made. It's not as heavy as some. It's a screw on top and is almost spill proof. I've had some tumblers that I've knocked over and made a mess. Either liquid spilled out around the straw or the top just came off. I find those rubber gaskets have a limited lifespan or aren't seated right so the top doesn't want to go on all the way. I love the built in handle. I have a little arthritis in my hands so gripping large cups can be difficult at times. I haven't used it for hot drinks and I probably won't. First time using it I filled it with ice and sweet tea. I didn't have to refill it for hours and my tea stayed cold. But when I did refill it, the ice was about half gone. Not terrible but this was after being in A/C all day. Outside in the heat might not produce the same results. I did try it over night with water. I have another brand of insulated tumbler that keeps ice all night. This one didn't fair as well. I only filled it half way with ice and water and I drank most of the water during the night. By morning, all the ice was gone. Not a deal breaker for me for what I would be using it for but I wouldn't expect this to keep a drink super cold for more than a few hours in a hot environment such as the beach or poolside. Certainly not the advertised times. Still a nice tumbler.

Nice insulated cup. No vent hole for straw makes drinking difficult -- See FIX
Build QualityThe cup is well made and has no defects. There is no seam on the inside, and it is easy to clean.Fit:It fits SNUGLY in my car cupholder - maybe a little too tight as it tends to grab and hold the plastic removeable part of the cup holder.HandlingThe handle is comfortable and easy to holdNo -leakThis cup has such a tight seal on the straw that it really doesn't leak even if you tip it over.DrinkingIt is hard to drink out of this cup because every time you take a sip, you create a vacuum in the cup which makes taking the next sip harder unless you let the cup draw air back up into the straw. I end up slightly loosening the cap when I drink from it.REMEDY for Vacuum/ Difficulty drinking:You can remove the straw gasket completely to allow air back into the cup -- It can be put back in later if you want to use it. -- A smaller straw may work as wellFinal thoughtsThis is a great cup that I recommend. It may be a little snug in some cars with a rubberized drink holder.

Too airtight? Straw too small?
I love the color & design is very much like simple modern however the suction is terrible. I think either the straw is too small or itâs too airtight & you can only get a small amount of liquid in your mouth before the suction stops. Going to try a different straw of my own to see if it helps. Any suggestions or have others complained about this issue?

Nice tumbler, no complaints
Nice tumbler. Ordered this to have another option for iced drinks. Our household likes to ordered powdered electrolyte and energy drinks that are on the healthier version than what you find in a bottle with food coloring. This is a great and enjoyable way of drink them. It also gets our 8 yr old son to drink more water. On a hot day, this is definitely the way to drink water when you are out and about. It is a good size (40oz) and does a good job keeping our drinks cold. The bottom fits nice in a car cup holder. The handle is huge, at first I thought it was a bit too much, but my husband like it...and when you're holding a hold drink a handle is nice to hand. The only wish I have is wanting the plastic straw to be stainless steel or silicone...something non plastic, but it is BPA free, seems like a thicker plastic and it's longer enough to fit the height of the tumbler. All in all, its a good deal and a decent find.

My Iced Coffee Stayed Iced
There are a few things that I like and a few things I dislike about this tumbler (hence the 4-star rating).I really like how the base of the tumbler is small enough to fit into most cup holders. It is very annoying when you get a tumbler like this that cannot fit in your car cupholder, especially if you are like me and have to drive around for work a lot. I also like that it's one solid color and that the ice will stay solid for a very long time. Here is what I don't like and ultimately why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. When trying to drink through the straw that comes with the tumbler, the suction is such that you cannot really get good control of how much liquid you want. I also found that the surface of the tumbler can get scratched pretty easily, so if your car has cupholders that have retracting parts on the inside, it's pretty easy for those to scratch up the side of the tumbler. As far as cleaning goes, it comes with a wire to help you clean the straw and other straw cleaners will work just fine. It's easy enough to clean the inside of the tumbler as well with one of the cup scrubbers or a handled sponge.

It creates a vacuum inside
This water bottle seals really tightly. So much so, that when sucking through a straw you REALLY have to suck. I would actually suck the whole stuck together ice ball at the bottom of the mug up and have to let up sucking on the straw so the ice ball could fall to the bottom again so more water would come up the straw. I took the straw out and turned the mug upside down to see how much it leaks, and it does drip out of the straw hole, and that's to be expected, but it doesn't run out, so if it tips over in your car it won't spill a lot of liquid out. The color is pretty, the handle is nice and comfortable, it fits in my car cup holder nicely, and it kept hotel ice (the smaller, thinner, square kind) in my cup for over 24 hours.I won't be using this as my main mug because I don't want wrinkles around my mouth from having to suck so hard on of the straw, but it's a good second mug to have.

Large, Well Insulated, Comfortable Handle
This cup is well insulate and the screw top makes a good seal. The top is thick and seals well. The handle is tall and comfortable, but sticks out far enough that it might not fit in all cupholders. The straw that comes with it is long and sturdy. The lid has a plastic flange that provides a pretty good seal for the straw, but it's not leakproof.Overall this is a very good cup, large size and enough insulation to kep your drink cold all day.

Decent tumbler but could be better
The media could not be loaded. Â I must preface this review by stating Iâm not a tumbler user and never jumped on that bandwagon so this is coming from a newbie. Iâve been curious about these oversized tumblers because I see them everywhere and do like how much water they can hold, I just didnât get what all the fuss was about. Iâm not sure I can get on board with this trend but I do see some benefits and think this tumbler checks those boxes well.It does keep my water cold for hours. That part is actually true! It keeps my water tasting cool & fresh. For the sake of testing out how warm it can keep liquids I filled this with hot water from the kettle. After 4 hours it was warm, not hot, but definitely not cold; if you wanted to use this for warm liquids it does hold up.My favourite part? Itâs dishwasher safe. Thatâs 5 stars right there đ Seriously though, itâs a huge plus and I appreciate that the GARMAY tumbler doesnât require me to wash this by hand with a bottle brush. I would have liked if it came with a straw cleaning brush though.Iâm disappointed that such a large, well made cup comes with a plastic straw, especially since the cup can be used for hot liquids. The ad does say that the âstraw is resistant to high temperaturesâ but in 2023 I would have liked better than plastic. The handle is comfortable and kind of necessary because itâs so big. Though the cup is lightweight enough on its own, itâs heavy when filled with water/liquid. Thatâs no fault of the tumbler but if youâre new to this trend like me, you may find it a bit much to lug around. The ad states both that is leak resistant and leak proof. Iâd say leak resistant. Okay, in all fairness you REALLY need to flip it upside down for water to come out (see my video) but I think itâs important to know the difference because if your kid gets a hold of this or if youâre not hands free and think youâre going to toss this into your tote, it CAN leak.Speaking of throwing this in your bag, it doesnât come with a straw cover. So unlike a water bottle where your mouth piece is protected from dust and dirt etc when youâre on the go, the GARMAY tumbler doesnât come with a straw cover either.Because of the weight, potential leakage, and lack of lid/cover for the straw, no tool to clean the inside of the straw, etc., this wouldnât be my go-to for leaving the house. At home and around the house? Itâs great and ensures Iâll be drinking enough water.Itâs a fair price compared to similar styles on the market and overall good quality.

Really nice tumbler
The Upgraded 40 OZ Tumbler with Handle and Straw Lid, Vacuum Insulated Travel Mug Stainless Steel Tumbler for Hot and Cold for Water, Iced Tea or Coffee, Smoothie and More (Black)is very well made, and high quality. The lid has some insulation in it as well, not something you see in these types of tumblers to often. The lid is threaded ensuring a tight fit and it won't accidentally come loose.Having such a wide opening makes adding ice so easy!! Just toss in handfuls.I would say the claimed 14 hrs of keeping a beverage cold is reasonably accurate, I put ice and water in this tumbler and the next morning it was still cold with a small amount of ice left. Ambient temp was around 18C.I haven't tried it with hot beverages yet.It really does fit in the cup holder of my car, I was impressed with that. I love that such a large tumbler can fit and stay put in the car.I love that this holds so much water, 40 oz over 1l!! Water for the whole day! It's easy to clean in warm soap and water. The seal is so tight that when drawing fluid up the straw you can feel the vacuum forming inside! Pretty good.I have two complaints about this tumbler and hence the -1 star. The hole in the lid for the straw should just be in the centre. Having it off to the side results in the straw being in a different spot every time the lid is screwed back on, kind of annoying. The straw is plastic... why not include a stainless steel one ??? I would much prefer the stainless steel! Not a bad deal at ~$29 at the time of this review.

Great but.....
This tumbler is beautiful, it has a lot of capacity and the color is gorgeous. I really put this to the test- on a road trip this was filled 3/4 and somehow ended on the floor of the car. Cleanup was easy, a simple wipe and the scuff marks were gone. There was no spillage! I actually didn't even notice this fell and rolled around, the seal is fantastic! The bad part- this does not hold its temperature. I put cold water in it and left it in the car for 3 hours on a 18 degree day. The water was super hot when I got back. Also this is awkwardly shaped, I am right handed and want to multi task and have this in my left hand. If I grab the handle with the left hand, the straw is outward facing and is awkward to get a sip from. To get it inward fa ingredients, I have to hold it with the right hand.

Beautiful Go-cup but the straw is a nope!
I already have my favourite water bottle(which I ONLY use for water).I ordered this for a cocktail mug for camping or backyard parties!đ€ȘPros:-love the size(donât have to mix drinks as often haha). This thing is huge but the handle makes it easy to carry around.-love the colour(whiteâs my jam) & the finish is great.-love that my drink is sealed from creepy night crawlers when I set it down & doesnât spill much if it gets knocked over.-it keeps my drinks cold for a few hours even sitting around the fire.Cons:-only oneâŠthe straw! Why build a beautiful go-cup & skimp out with a plastic straw. Mine came warped & even after washing in hot water & bending it, itâs still warped. Now Iâm on the hunt for a stainless steel one thatâs long enough for this large mug.Overall, Iâm happy with my new party mug & the price is ok at $29.99, but please fix the straw situation! A stainless straw would move this to a 5âïž for me.

Amazing, Affordable Tumbler! Cold Drinks Stay Cold, Hot Stay Hot!
I recently got my hands on this tumbler, and I've got to say, it's a fantastic addition to my daily routine! The sleek white design not only looks great but is also incredibly easy to clean, which is a big plus for me. The handle and straw lid make it super convenient to carry around, and what I love most is its versatility. Whether I'm sipping on my morning coffee, enjoying a refreshing iced tea in the afternoon, or even indulging in a smoothie, this tumbler keeps my drinks at just the right temperature for hours on end.One of the standout features for me is the vacuum insulation. I've used other tumblers before, but this one excels in temperature retention. My iced drinks stay cold, and my hot beverages stay piping hot for an impressively long time. Plus, the spill-resistant straw lid is a valuable addition for on-the-go sipping without worrying about any mess. It also ensures that my drinks maintain their original flavor without any metallic taste that some other travel mugs can sometimes impart.Overall, this tumbler has become an essential part of my daily routine. It's durable, stylish, and keeps my drinks at the perfect temperature, all while being super convenient to use. Whether you're a coffee lover, tea enthusiast, or a smoothie addict like me, this tumbler is a fantastic addition to your day. I highly recommend giving it a try!
