Thermostat box adaptor
I bought a Honeywell thermostat and from prior experience knew I also needed to buy this to go under it for a flush fit and good contact. Easy to install if you are handy. I had my a/c guy install both this item and the thermostat when he came for a check-up and he did it for me at no charge since he was already there for the a/c inspection.

The Right Fit
This will work with an electrical box in horizontal or vertical orientation. The pictures are a bit distorted. Meant to have UWP thermostat mounted onto it.

first off they just complete the install. i know they are bigger, and they will take up more room. but the install is much firmer, you can screw the mount to the wall

Broke during installation
I’m not thrilled to recommend the Honeywell branded plate, but unfortunately, the plastic for this plate is quite flimsy and broke during installation. I’ve already placed an order for the Honeywell branded plate and will be returning the Honeywell one as soon as it arrives.

Perfect size to cover the hole from the previous thermostat size
Thermostats today come in so many different sizes from the old units and this cover worked out great.
