Jobst - It Stays! Roll-On Body Fixative - 2 Ounce (Value Pack of 3)

The first time I used this, I went wild with the amount of adhesive I applied. Lesson learned. This adhesive works great and you only need a very small amount! It works best to do very small amounts in several places and let it dry to slightly tacky before putting the compression garments over the places where the adhesive was applied. Without it, compression stockings tend to slide down throughout the day, which is very annoying. With it, they stay in place all day.

This really works! It keeps my compression garment right where I want it to stay. Only one roll pass on my skin and I hold garment on glue for less than a minute and it stays! I wouldn’t put more than the one pass because taking garment off will hurt if you put too much. Will definitely be buying more when these are gone. Definitely recommend!

I've been using It Stays for a number of years to keep my socks from running away on their own. I got tired of socks that kept deciding that 'ankles' were the place to live, and started using It Stays. Just roll it around your leg where the top of your sock is meant to go, then pull your sock up, and if all goes well, your socks will stay RIGHT there, all day. Then at the end of the day just rinse your legs off and the residue washes right off!

Works well. Holds up my thigh high compression stockings. However, because I’ve tried other brands I know it doesn’t have quite the adhesive quality of other brands. Again it works, just not as well as the It Stays.

I've purchased several adhesives to use with my full leg compression stocking and what I like about this particular product is the design. I leave it upright and it doesn't leak like the other ones I've used. With all the other products I've purchased, I've always ended up having to put it in a plastic bag or some type of tray to keep it from leaking all over my bathroom counters. I have not had to do that with this one and I love that! The adhesive itself works great and is easy to clean off when I take my stocking off.

I saw a lot of reviews for the ladies so I thought I would post one for the men. First, let me put it out there that this man does not wear compression stockings, let's just be real clear about that. However, I do on occasion (every day) wear performance enhancing extremely high (thigh high) socks with compression for the supreme athlete still in his prime. And yes they might look very similar to those girly looking compression stockings to the untrained eye but they are not. They are socks. So on to the point of this review. Until I tried this Jobst stuff I was passed frustrated with trying to keep the things up. And I had tried everything I could think of to keep them in place. I tried electrical tape, staples, automotive liquid gasket, I even tried some pine tar I had left from my baseball days. Nothing worked well that did not create a big mess or cause permanent scarring. But this stuff works extremely well and has eliminated the problem of keeping them in place. I have hairy legs and I have not found that to be that much of a problem as long as you don't paste a big ring of it around your leg. I just kinda tac weld them in about three places and have found that is all I need. Experiment with it and see what works for you. Anyway, just remember that they are really high socks and this stuff keeps them up.

We seldom give it much thought before we start wearing compression stockings, but stockings are milled to end straight across, where legs are built to end at a slant. Even though my thighs weren’t fat, I was forever struggling with the resultant creation of an unsightly edema-muffin over the outside edges of my stockings before I discovered this adhesive. A little application helps the stocking to stay up at a slant. Similarly, my open-toed stockings wouldn’t stay down to my toes, but would ride up to the middle of my feet and cause the balls of my feet to swell and be uncomfortable. But with the addition of a little swipe of adhesive across the balls of my feet, my stockings now stay down nicely all day. As you can imagine, one bottle of this adhesive lasts a long while, but having a spare is essential, since you won’t want to run out. The only negative is that it can be a little messy, because there will occasionally be a drip down the side of the bottle after it’s capped, so you will want to store it on a bit of paper toweling or something similar and keep it away from anything that would be adversely affected by a bit of sticky goo. But a quick rinse will quickly take care of the stuff on the bottle, and it’s harmless. The adhesive is excellent at holding up stockings but not damaging to the skin and washes off easily with warm water. This is one product I always keep in stock and re-order when I’m opening my last bottle. I’d give it six stars if I could!
