I have a hard time finding dog beds big and think enough for my German Shepherd mix. I decided to try one of these crash pads and she absolutely loves it. In fact, my smaller dog ended up stealing it from her so I went ahead and bought a second one so they would stop fighting over it. Worth noting that in the case of a dog bed, it isn't waterproof but does have a removable outer cover that can be washed. So it can be cleaned for regular maintenance, but if a dog (or child) were to have an accident or spill on it the foam insert may not be recoverable. For my needs though, it is perfect!

I love this cushion. It’s huge so it’s perfect for you to lay on with pets, kids or just take a nap on. The top cover is removable and washable. When it arrived, it was packed well, no holes or anything. The top cover was separately packed to keep it clean and it was easy to put on and the main layer is really smooth and pretty easy to clean and it made it easier to put on the top cover. The size and everything is great for the price because of its versatility. I like how durable it is because I can fold it, squish it, fluff it however I want and I like that especially when I’m getting comfortable to relax for a while. Worth the price!!

I ordered this thinking it would be perfect for my grandkids to relax on and watch movies, read, play with their iPads, etc. what I hadn’t counted on was it being so huge! lol!It came in a rather large box, but immediately upon opening the box it started to expand. It fluffed up to a great size, but due to the stench of it, we left in the spare room to fluff up and air out for a couple of weeks. I’m not going to lie, the smell of this was overwhelming and smelled like rotted fish! I almost threw it out, but for the cost of it I just couldn’t throw it away. After a week it didn’t bring tears to our eyes, but it was still strong! We started flipping it a couple of times a day and after week 2 it didn’t smell. The cover didn’t smell, so we left that off during the airing out/fluffing process. Once the smell had disappeared, we were amazed how easily we could get the cover on it. Nice to know since it’ll make it easy to throw it in the wash.The pad itself is made of shredded foam and is super comfortable. The kids love laying on it to watch tv in their play room. I laid on it a couple of times and almost hated to get up, I could have curled up and taken a nap!Overall I’m impressed with it and the kids love it. I thought the price was very high so I hope it lasts well. I give it 5 stars for comfort, but took off a star for the cost and having to air it out for two weeks.
