Nice product
The product overall function exactly as you’d expect, and already found a fault in one of my DMX cables. It lost one star because on my unit you have to push exceptionally hard on the battery holder to get it to click back into place. It did come with a battery.

Battery did not make good contact to start with by eased the contact springs ...
Very solid case but I might be concerned about the rotary switch being knocked. Battery did not make good contact to start with by eased the contact springs and all seams to be Ok now.

Goes well beyond what a multimeter can do. Between my computer, stereo and guitar gear, I have a million cables so when something isn't right, this is the first thing I use to confirm connectivity before going any deeper.

The door that holds the Battery sits very loose and will only activate the device if it is pushed in with your hand. And sometimes just falls out.
