Flambeau Outdoors 1511DDP Double Deep Pistol Case

The case seems well built with hinges that appear to be capable of years of openings.Although I probably won't be using them the dividers are a great idea and make the most of available space.The sponge inserts are thick and I'm happy with the level of protection they afford my rifle.I'm not using the supplied velcro straps as the gun is being held in the case quite securely.The case is held shut by four plastic latches which seem sturdy enough to me. Although these are not lockable the case can be secured by passing two padlocks through the parts of the case (the eyes if you like) you can see under the carrying handle.The gun (a 110 carbine) is fitted with a 'big wheel" on the sight focusing ring and that together with the bipod meant a search for a case big enough and deep enough to accommodate the outfit. This case does the job but because of the width of the rifle there is a small gap between the two halves just under the carrying handles when case is closed.It's possible that this will close in time as the sponge linings settle but I don't really think of this as a problem and it's certainly not unsightly. Alltogether, and considering the price, I'm pleased with this case. I expect to need another in the near future and will have no hesitation in buying the same.Very comfortable in recommending this Flambeau rifle case.

My HW100BP fitted with my night vision scope fits perfectly. I'd been looking for case and found this. Reasonable price, looks to be well made even though it's made from a type of plastic and I must say a very fast delivery.The foam is slightly pre cut to allow you to fit the compartments provided complete with instructions and straps to secure your rifle.I'm very pleased with this case and will be ordering a second one for my HW110.The only negative comment in my opinion is that the straps could be longer especially if you use them for a Bull Pup rifle.I'm very pleased with the case.

I ordered this Flambeau case (sold by outdoor adventure) after a friend bought one and I saw how much storage capacity was provided. I wanted a case to carry 2 x .22lr scoped bolt action rifles (16" barrel) and they just about fit with some length to spare. The case will also fit 1 x .22lr scoped rifle and a .22 semi auto. For this reason I haven't used the dividers. The case is pretty solid with the lid closed and is a good compromise between overall weight and regigity. Plenty of locking points (6) if thats what you need. IMHO this is a good quality product for a good price that can easily carry an AR style aswell as many more options so what's not to like.

Good case but a little flimsy

It's a great sized box. The foam inserts and spacers are great. The security retention straps work well. The hinges are very poor. I had to heat and reshape mine.

really great gun case , bought for my airsoft rifle. Long enough to fit an AR.Foam has perforations for easy cutting and the dividers are decent.Great cause well made.

Spacious, plenty of space for AR15 with a moderator and a scope, plus a few spare mags. Seems sturdy. Velcros for securing the gun. All in all - happy with the purchase.

Brilliant, sturdy, ease of setup. Fits my rifle and magazines in perfectly. Everything well protected and secure. Highly recommended.
