Works brilliantly. Seems to have a much more powerful zap than others I have tried in the past. Very few survivors from this zapper.

Works better than more expensive version bought on high street. Good knockdown power even on larger flies. Meat slightly narrower than previous swatter catching small mosquitoes and gnats.

I made up my mind last year when the moths and mosquitoes decided that the best eating experience on the south coast of the UK is here in my bedroom, to get a fly swatter. Let me assure you, those pesky little flying bugs will have a good workout attempting to avoid my nifty backflip to encourage them not to invade my house. I see one, trying to get past me, haha my little fiend we have met before, but you are bigger than the last time and I am armed and ready for you. He/she is playing with me, flying around me, flying up and down and it even seems to disappear but I wait, and eventually, my nemesis returns and takes delight in taunting me, He/she cheekily flies towards me, I press the yellow button and as the moth gets about an arm's length from me, I hit out I with the exterminator and I moved the bat in the right way and the moth flew ................(you think I'm going to say I missed,) Well it sizzled like a sausage on a bar-b-que. The moth departed, did I feel sorry? No, another one has just flown past me, but has been eaten by the cat!! BTW for entertainment I'd give it 10/10 and you get 2 bats, so you and another could have a competition. Beats holding a conversation,

Does the job just as well as the ‘Terminator’ model (I doubt I can use the actual model/brand name here) for half the price. I have used both and this bat is lighter in weight (possibly easier to use for a smaller adult and/or senior).

Don't forget you are using it like a tennis racket, which means when you hit the fly, the dead fly, 'flies' across the room and you don't know where it's landed?

Although I could just about open the battery compartment when it was empty, it was very difficult even though I have strong hands. It was almost impossible to close it once the batteries were in, and to open it again (as I had borrowed the batteries from other devices) is impossible. This item is going back, almost certainly with the batteries inside it, and as they are rechargable I hope that Amazon will give me compensation for the loss of the batteries, as well as a refund for the item itself.
