Update 06/25Changing my review again lol. I loved these sandals so much the first time that I couldn't bear not trying them again and again. I returned the pair this spring and ordered a half a size larger. The straps were still tight, but I felt so foolish for trying them again that I didn't return them. I pulled them out about 2 weeks back and for some reason after years and years, it just occurred to me that they could also be worn as slides rather than full sandals by wearing the heel strap in front above the foot. Wearing them as slides took away the discomfort of the straps being too tight and I wore them as such around the house and to run a few errands for the last 2 weeks and lo and behold - the straps have loosened up, I can wear the heel strap comfortably over the heel as intended, and they are once again the perfect sandal. Soooo happy with them again :)Also, just want to note that the arch support for these sandals is incredible and has improved over the pair from 6 years ago.Spring 25:Below is my original 5 star review. However, I have changed my review from 5 stars to 2 stars because the dimensions of the sandals have changed. The new design is tight and uncomfortable. I measured the straps on my 2 new pairs with a tape measure and the straps are 1/2 - 3/4" shorter than the straps on my original pair of sandals. I'm zo disappointed as these sandals were the best and now they're the worst.Original Review 2019 purchase:This is my 3rd pair of these sandals in 3 years. I keep buying them every year because they are the absolute best sandals I have ever had. I've worn them hiking for hundreds of miles through the Appalachian mountains, worn them to wander through miles of California's redwood forests, 7kft up Mt Rainier, along winding trails at Mt St Helens, and besides being comfortable and durable enough for all that hiking, they look super cute with a sundress and even very convenient to slip on to go to the grocery store. These sandals deserve ALL the stars and then some.

Comfortable shoes, soft. Feet don't slip in shoes when wet. I love them. Bought my daughter a pair too. I usually wear a 9 but the 9 was too small, sent back the 9s and got a 10 and it fits perfectly.

I purchased these shoes as I was in need of cute sandals that would be good for lots of walking. I took them on a trip to Greece and walked around cities and ruins in them. They worked so much better than expected for me.Pros:- Great support for my feet and alleviated pain and discomfort due to plantar fasciitis. There is a support in the exact spot that I need additional pressure in to help with the pain.- Straps are soft and flexible. I was worried they would rub or be itchy but they were very comfortable right away.- They fit my narrow feet well with my normal expected size. They weren't too tight or too loose.- Convertible heel strap allows for you to wear that strap around the heel for a more secure fit, or flip the strap forward and wear them like a slide on. Both are comfortable for walking. Also, the ankle strap is attached to the other straps in such a way that the other straps can slide up and down which gives an adjustable fit. The adjustment is easy to do, but snug enough to stay in place.- Cute sandals - I got the tan sandals and they are cute enough to wear with skirts/dresses, and casual enough to wear with jeans.Cons:- The material of the sole which touches the ground seems like it may lack durability. After wearing them many hours a day for a week, the soles which started tan were grey/black from the ground, and looked a bit worn. Other sandals, like chacos, seem to have a sole that is less affected by the ground. However, for the price this is not surprising.- While the arch support works great for my feet, my mother also tried them (she has high arches and wide feet) and said the arch hit her foot weirdly and they weren't great for her wider feet at her normal size.Overall - very pleased with these shoes. Will order again, as the pros are worth the potential lack of durability in the sole. May also get in other colors. Thanks!Update1.5 years later: As suspected, the soles wore through after a summer of use, but the rest of the shoe is in good repair. I ordered another pair of the same shoes. It would be nice if the sole were more durable as to reduce waste.

they are comfortable. I hiked on a rocky trail and I didn't slip, plus they provided good support. I get them wet when I go to the beach, run errands, and they have lasted for a couple of years. I usually only wear them during summer and non winter weather. I'm glad that they offer different colors.

So I really wanted to love these and the older I get I feel like I’m like the crazy old aunt with ‘foot issues’🥴- I’m only 45. I have a high arch and instep and wanted comfy walking shoes for a trip.Arch support- has it. Actually a pretty firm almost ball feel under my arch which I didn’t mind.Soles- these were totally comfortable but firm enough that they didn’t feel flimsy. Honestly this was the selling point that made me want to keep them.Strapping- they are non adjustable in the sense you can’t loosen or tighten them, also not stretchy. I wasn’t sure I could get my foot in at first w my high arch/instep but they fit fine. Also sometimes shoe w a heel strap can slide/dig- this one was fine. The strapping material was comfortable no rubbing it wasn’t a hard braided material as it may appear. The style was fine for comfy walking shoes- I’d literally wear any style if it gave me relief for walking all day- which is why I was trying to break free from sneakers all the time4 toe effect- however the straps seemed to cut out my little toe. Visually I really didn’t care although you might if that bothers you. But when walking it kinda dug into the toe because the strap was set above my little toe on both sides. I wore about 40 minutes around my house.If the fit works for you I’d say go for it bc they seem otherwise comfortable but they just didn’t for me. The quest continues
