Excellent Build Quality
The extremely high quality of the aluminum body, rubber footpads, touchpad surface, and key quality shocked me! The keyboard worked perfectly with its 2.4 GHz receiver and the integrated buttons for switching between dedicated 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth are ingenious. This puts Logitech to shame! On top of that, it works flawlessly with Samsung Dex and my iPhone with Assistive Touch turned on.Thanks for a quality product meeting the needs that Logitech ignores, Rii. Y'all need to promote this product more than your tiny keyboards.

SO easy to connect and touchPad feature is right on!!
Though in past decades I have used a desktop, as a photographer, I need a very lightweight and portable computer solution for travels, so a laptop was also necessary. Being on a laptop nonstop everyday archiving, reviewing and viewing image files on a laptop for me, seems to be best done on a laptop and that's what I've been doing at home AND while on the road for years. My laptop recently died [thanks again microsoft!] and I needed a solution quickly. I went back to a fullsize old desktop which I had problems adjusting to, making keybrd mistakes so much that I decided to create a desktop computer station based on a laptop design ;) With this keyboard, it feels and looks like a laptop keyboard. Instead of a large PC monitor, I searched and found a smaller touch screen monitor, which I will somehow slant on my desk so that I have the makings of a "laptop" but will actually be a desktop configured as a LAPTOP! This keyboard is an integral part of that design in my head, and it is working VERY nicely! It booted up without problems, didn't even have to look at the instructions. Once I turned on the bluetooth [TAB+ FN] connection was almost in an eye blink! Really! Until my smaller touch-screen monitor arrives, I am using a Dell 23" monitor, connected to a BeeLink X45 with 8gb ram and everything is going soooo smoothly and very very fast! It already feels as if I am using a laptop already ;) This keyboard is very good and though I wish it had the little legs on the back to hold it at a nice angle, I am making good progress within a few minutes, in typing and using the touchpad! I've gone into settings to adjust the cursor/mouse color as I couldn't find it on this big wide 23" screen! Totally recommended! Pictures attached show the still-in-plastic keyboard next to my standard default PC with the keyboard. You can see how this keyboard is almost the same width as the 15" keyboard, and the touchpad is really working well from the get-go, even though the protective plastic is still on!!

I'm writing this review using the very same keyboard.
Purchased to use on the living room PC...Pros:* Mostly metal chassis; feels very solid and has a nice heft to it.* No problems pairing it to Bluetooth right out of the box.* Setup was pretty intuitive and didn't need special instructions.* Considering it's a compact keyboard, I found it mostly comfortable.Cons:* Keys have a weird "clacky" feel to them; not obnoxious but a bit noisier than I'd prefer.* Touchpad acceleration was way too fast, had to turn it down to about 75% to get it to feel more "normal".* The audio buttons have a weird lag to them, and sometimes it got confused with a touchpad click. Would have probably been better if they were their own buttons.* The WiFi dongle doesn't stay firmly in it's holder, so it's possible to loose it.* Conversely, the dongle is extremely tight in in a USB port (to the point where I was concerned I was going to break something trying to plug it in.While it has some drawbacks, it's also got some good points and isn't bad overall (especially for the price). I would still recommend it.

Terrible Connectivity
Terrible. The connection is garbage. Even a few feet away the Bluetooth drops. Also, I have never had a 2.4 device that has such problems connecting. 6 feet away shouldn't be too far. Trash.

Affordable Premium Feel Keyboard Touchpad Combo Compared to Logitech Price
've been a longtime user of the Logitech K400 but needed a keyboard with both Bluetooth and a 2.4 GHz receiver for greater flexibility. This setup allows my home theater PC to leverage Bluetooth connectivity while keeping the receiver as a spare for other devices I manage. At a similar price point to the K400, I find this keyboard's key feel superior. It offers a more tactile, laptop-like keypress, which is a significant improvement over the K400's softer membrane keys. The Rii's touchpad is noticeably more sensitive, allowing for faster cursor movement and appears to feature better sensors overall. While I can't yet speak to its long-term durability since it's a recent purchase, my K400 has been reliable for years, enduring heavy use and some pretty rough handling, and it still functions well. Based on my experience so far, if I needed a second keyboard, I'd likely opt for the Rii again.I also have the Rii handheld keyboard with a touchpad that resembles a game controller. While compact and functional, its touch sensor feels similar to the K400's and is too small for extended productive use.Overall, Rii seems to have established a solid niche in media-focused keyboards with versatile connectivity options. I hope they continue to balance quality with affordability.

Poor connection
This is a nice device, if you are 5 feet away from the connection point. I do not recommend buying this for your home theater computer as the signal strength is not very good. However it is good if the keyboard/track pad is either 8 feet away in line of sight with the dongle.
