Any supplement you have to be VERY careful. You have to trust the brand for actually delivering what they say. Do the research so you know you are buying the right thing and not the wrong formulation that your body can not even absorb AND it has to be at a price that does not cause your wallet to cry. Solary was all those things. Will continue to buy. Not sure if the Berberine is actually helping... trusting the studies, but this is the right formulation and the company has no scandals to their name (good rep) at a good price.

I was taking another brand but this one seems to be easier for my digestion to tolerate. I think it might actually be more effective, but there is no real way to prove this. I would give it 5 stars except it is so much more expensive than a lot of other berberines, but I'm not sure they were doing anything so ultimately this might be cheaper because it is actually working? who knows.

Although Consumer Lab recommends Solray’s original version of berberine and says you don’t really need the phytozyme version if you can take the berberine with a meal, I feel like this one works better. Combined with red yeast rice, my LDL and total cholesterol dropped 30% in 3 months.

This stuff is killer on the liver ooof. Would definitely not recommend if you have sensitive liver function. I spent days in pain after these.

Yay, no more tummy troubles. I wanted to like Berberine but the standard stuff just killed my tummy and caused such pain that after a few trie, I gave up. Months later I saw on a YT video about Berberine Phytosome that solved the tummy troubles and decided to give it a try. It's working great so far and I will be buying more as I would rather take this than more Metformin with all it's side affects.

I have been taking berberine for several months now mainly because it claims to be very good for some of the ailments I suffer from. Initially I was unaware of how much it can upset your stomach if you are sensitive or the manufacturer doesn't take steps to make it more easily digestable. So the first bottle I purchased is still sitting on a shelf. But the second one was great and I had no problems with it, until I ran out and could not find the same brand again. So then I found Solaray. After reading that it is supposed to be easy to digest I decided to try it and I can honestly say that wether I take it on an empty stomach ora full one makes no difference, it has never upset my stomach. If I decide to continue ordering Berberine I will always order this brand and this specific formulation. I like knowing that my body is able to utilize all that is good from this berberine due to its absorption and standardization.
