I have daily headaches and multiple painful spots on my body due to chronic illnesses, which it does somewhat help. Although there was some power, it definitely needed a charge before use. Even the lowest setting is powerful and with the correct head, could target my painful pressure points. The pneumatic head was tougher than I expected it to be and began jumping over harder areas that were raised. As a result, it can't be used in "all areas of the body" as stated in the instructions. On other massagers, this is usually my favourite one, but I really struggled to get it working smoothly. The pointy head did a wonderful job for those trigger points though.There's a separate charging cable and I couldn't work out why it was included as it wasn't for the main massager. There was nothing in the instructions either. It was only when I came across the head that heats up did I realise that it was to charge that one. This head was the most enjoyable. The heat is a pleasant experience and it massages gently over fleshy areas. The push blade head curves well around leg muscles, but also twists, which is annoying, as I have to turn it off to straighten it. On lower speeds, I found it had more of a tendency to bounce.Positively, because the massager is so powerful, even at low setting, I sometimes get a hot feeling after the treatment. I can only assume this is the blood rushing to the area. On the downside, it doesn't seem to hold its charge that well between uses. The machine can have full charge, be used for a short amount of time and then a couple of weeks later, when I come to use it again, after another short massage, it stops working. I did expect better.
