Excellent roll or tailor's ham
This is an excellent ironing aid. It is particularly useful for ironing seams in and around shirt sleeves. The stuffing is very firm and provides a solid surface for ironing on.I make a lot of shirts and I find this partcularly useful for pressing sleeve seams during the sewing process. It is a lot easier to use than a flat ironing board.

Good product.
Well made although a little pricey. Hence 4 stars for VFM!

So Glad I bought this! Firm, robust and perfect!
I have been debating for a long time if I would need or use one of these...I have been sewing for 6 years now and have been putting it off. Finally after having some birthday money from family and having pretty much most things I need now, I took the plunge! After keeping a look out and comparing prices, I decided to go for this (I also bought the Prym Ham too which is equally as good) and at £11.20 at the time of buying, was the best price out there. Great value in my opinion.I have used it already in my bag making and it was perfect for pressing around the seams in a small bag. I have used it a couple of times and it was brilliant! The roll is very firm and feels really robust and I look forward to making more use of it too with my dressmaking! If you are undecided like I was, I am sure you will find many uses for it in your sewing room and also for ironing in general. I have a sleeve board and that is useless for seams and smaller area than this is.I am not always impressed with Prym products over the years but this and the ham have to be the best purchases I have made of theirs. Recommended.

Perfit for tricky bits of ironing
Very handy for ironing those tricky fabric bits, sleeves and shoulders. It lightweight but excellent quality and I wouldn't buy any other make. They are filled with top quality stuffing! And they look nice.

Just the job for ironing those awkward corners when making bags, clothing, etc, but also useful for regular ironing too. Worth every penny.

This is an excellent accessory and one that, once used, becomes more of a necessity. Very highly recommended.
This is a very robust piece of equipment and very well filled and machined to give a very firm foundation for steam-ironing.It was bought specifically for steam-ironing out sleeve seams as described and as implied by its shape. In practice it has been used for many other seams as its shape and length offers support for a far greater range of applications requiring length support other than sleeves. It was bought as one of a pair of Taylor's Hams with the other one being designed for ironing out curved seams which it does with a similar ease of use as this more rectangular shape. This is an excellent accessory and one that, once used, becomes more of a necessity. Very highly recommended.
