Scandals of the Father: Cavalieri Billionaire Legacy, Book 1

First time reading anything by this author: Zoe Blake and don't believe that it will be the last! Overall, strong main / secondary characters, energetic dialog, and that takes the reader along for the ride. Can be read as a standalone, but just really want to find out what happens with other characters (Renata 🤬) / plot.

Such a good story! This is an interconnected standalone, the first in the Cavalieri series.Zoe Blake create this world that is so real, all the characters are dynamic and interesting. The story of Amara and Barone’s relationship is well developed. The introduction of the future stories for other character is woven in incredibly well.A very fun, mildly violent, very very spicy hot, with some fabulously snarky arguments and dialogue. I loved the pacing, the ending was perfect.

This book was a really adventurous story. One that kept you guessing what next. It had my interest from the beginning to end. I haven’t read any books by this author however I will be looking for book 2 and 3. Thanking You Zoe Blake for a great book💕

This is one of the best books I've ever read!!! I honestly wanted it to be longer!!!! I completely finished this book in 2 days!!!

I will say Barone was definitely a touch her and ☠️ kind of man, but he was a man obsessed the moment he laid eyes on Amara. I kind of loved that about him. Amara, I loved how strong willed and stubborn she was, she wanted her independence but yet she was completely obsessed with Barone too, because he gave her what she was craving. I enjoyed this book.

I loved this book and especially Barone. He sounds so sexy. Amara was interesting but I did get irritated with her lack of sense at times. You can argue that she's independent but running away so much got a little old at times. I thought it was spicy and I liked that.

Cavalieri Billionaire Legacy book 1. Barone is the head of the Cavalieri family. He is riddled with scandal because of major secrets. Amara is caught up in his web of dominance. He helps her and he needs what she brings to the table. As they fall for each other, the craziness continues. Highly dramatic, hopeful, angstful, twisty and kink. It steamingly hot but can be triggering with the level of kink of it all. A new author for me and I'm a fan.

Age gap what is not to love ❤️ The book is about Amara (young female) and Barone Cavalieri (controlling, alpha male) so much spice. D/s Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!Storyline ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I loved this book. So many times I laughed out loud at some of the thing Barone said it did, the banter with Amara. I enjoyed the tidbits into the other characters for this series too. The drama was pretty minimal it is mostly the push and pull between Amara and Barone. Both struggling with their feelings, Barone being domineering and protective and Amara trying to protect her heart, stubborn and not putting up with Barone's strong handed tactics. So amusing and sweet. It's also dual pov which provides great insight into the characters. Its definitely a re read book for me, probably will listen to it on audible as well.

Fast paced well written as always awesome!

Amara works as a server at the wedding of the eldest Cavalieri son, where she caught the attention of the groom's father, Barone Cavalieri. He is a well-known man and despite the rumors going around about him, or especially because of those, no one dares to tell him no - until Amara comes along.She is a feisty woman and really likes to challenge him. However, she soon finds herself needing his protection, whether she likes it or not. This gives Barone the perfect excuse to keep her close and make her his, before she finds out about his dark past.Barone and Amara's story was perfection. From the very first glimpse, there is an intense amount of tension around them and, although they try their hardest not to give in, they couldn't keep their hands off each other, even if their lives depended on it.It was incredibly well written, kept you on edge throughout the entire read and the spice.. get yourself an extra pair of panties. Or two. Maybe even three. 🤭One thing I especially loved about the writing style, is how Zoe Blake really sucked you into the surroundings. It seemed like you were in Italy yourself while reading the book. From architecture and fashion details, to cultural aspects and so much yummy food - seriously, I can't put into words how hungry this book made me. 😄Scandals of the Father was an amazing start to the Cavalieri Billionaire Legacy series, and I can't wait to read the following books in the series about Barone's sons. As well as the series about the Diamanti family, which we have already got a glimpse of, and is scheduled to start this summer. ☀️

WOW….i absolutely loved this book..with the family saga older man younger woman vibes that had all the suspense, family drama, kept at arms length, past secrets revealed, rich/poor, kinky vibes that just sucked me into another world and I didn’t want to leave…definitely a five star read from me.

I've waited for this book for what feels like forever. I was hooked and pushing the pre-order button the minute I read the bio and saw it all on the author website!I have a serious soft spot for the use of Italian language in books featuring either people who are Italian or even if only the Mafia living in the US as often happens in my fav tropes & reads.So when I discovered Xoe Blake was starting a whole new world with not only featuring Italian in the books but also putting the setting itself IN Italy?! You bet your butt I was gonna read it cover to cover in only hours and I absolutely loved it!This is book 1 and the main couples in each of these 3 books carry on into the next one, so even though its def a HEA it's more a HFN and see you in the next one. ;)I can't wait for May and book 2!
