Q: I know the description says for kids 4 and up, but does anyone have experience with a 3 year old playing? Thinking about getting as a 3rd bday present

I got this for my granddaughter who was 6 at the time, her sister was 3 then and it kind of scared her when it "popped"; she wanted to be across the room! Soon after turning 4 when we played it again, she loves it. It does take a little strength to push his hat down when he's getting full. Depends on the child I think and it teaches counting.

Q: Is the new (redesigned in 2013) version the one with checkered pants or the one with solid pants?

The one I bought this year has solid pants.

I bought Goliath pop the pig early this new year 2016. I do not know if this is the newest version but I have seen a Goliath pop the pig in a red box that the owner bought it 2013.
