Foundation support
I used a treated 4x4 from Home Depot and it had quarter inch of extra space on two sides of the enclosure. Based on the other reviews I disassembled and lubricated the screw with a dry lube prior to using it. This makes it much easier to use. The included bar provided enough leverage to raise the foundation in the areas where it was needed.

Strong, small and perfect
Paired with a hydrolic jack these did an amazing job keeping my kitchen up in a crawlspace before repair. Can be flipped upside down and used that way for a larger base that does not sink as well (but I'm not a safety expert and don't know how serious my osha violations are lol)

Caution welding slag inside
They work great BUT if you are going to mount with the 4x4 on top take the threaded rod out first and dump all the welding slag out it binds up the threads and you will end up doing it trust me it will save time
