Super bright compact light
Such a bright light - used it on first day to light up under sink to repair a split pipe. So much light from such a small item - perfect for working in small spaces. Don't know when or why I would use the strobe light function, but the reduced power mode is still bright enough to work with and has the benefit of longer battery run time. The clip houses a magnet strong enough to hold the light on the fridge (handy for power cuts).Haven't had this long enough to see what battery life is like, but the LEDs consume so little power I am expecting battery life to be good. The only criticism is for the packaging, it comes safe and securely packed in the 'welded plastic blister' packs that you need a decent knife or pair of scissors to get in to.These were £15.99 when I originally saw them, now at £9.99 I think a worthwhile purchase and addition to most households. In fact I have already bought a second and given it to my mum to keep on her fridge too.

Great lamp, except for...
I have a business servicing oil fired boilers and constantly need extra light to help me work in the dark recesses of boiler rooms. I already have a couple of Unilite PS-IL6R lamps which are excellent and I noticed this new pocket sized lamp so bought one.In the couple of days I've owned it, It's already proved to be really useful and has become the first light I reach for. I find the low power mode mode gives plenty of light for close working and it's really handy being able to stick it to steel surfaces using the clip or tail cap. However, the only niggle is the fairly ridiculous 'disorientation strobe' setting... Come on Unilite, is it a serious professional inspection lamp or a 'tactical self defence' tool? It would be better if the flash setting wasn't provided (and you can't avoid it because you end up cycling through the flash mode when switching between the high and low modes), or at least make the chosen mode 'sticky' so you don't get the flash mode by mistake. I live in fear of triggering epilepsy in my customers ;)

Had this for a few months now, and its brill. Runs on a couple of AA's which last well. I use it almost every day. Plenty bright enough for a quick look at things or close up work. The little magnet in the clip is strong enough to hold it in most angles. There are similar lights around that are substantially cheaper. However, they are no way near as bright or as well made as this. If yo want to use it lots, need it to be bright. Then get this Unilite.

Super bright!
Incredibly bright torch for the size of it, great for lots of job especially on the car. Doesn't stick well to a slightly dirty or grubby surface though. Good value for money.

sturdy and bright
Runs from 3xAAA is very bright and is very wide spread out light, very bright as a work task light, but will eat 3 alkalines batteries in about 90 mins, nice metal body, and strong made, this is not a poundshop light, close to a professional task light, will not shine any distance though, it not a focused torch, but set near your work area and you will have plenty to see by
