In high school, I developed severe acne. Today, I have gotten over that stage of severe acne and I'm left with dark spots and scars. My skin is now VERY sensitive and oily. After doing lots of research online, I found out that a way to naturally lighten and prevent new imperfections (dark spots and scars) on my skin is by applying sunscreen every single day with reapplication throughout the day. For years, I have been searching for the perfect sunscreen that doesn't break out my skin, isn't full of chemicals and is COMPLETELY natural. I was very skeptical about ordering this sunscreen, but I was left with no other choice but to just order it and try it out. I feared that with all the oils in this sunscreen, my face would be twice as oily as it normally is, and I feared that the zinc oxide would leave my face looking ghostly white. I have owned/tried out this sunscreen for about two months and I can honestly say that this is my absolute FAVORITE sunscreen that I have ever purchased. My skin hasn't looked better in years and now that I have this sunscreen, it has been a game changer. My skin looks very smooth and glowy which are two words I would have never described my skin years ago. My skin isn't left overly oily after application and while there is a little bit of a white tint, it can be further blended in. I found that this sunscreen has never left my skin irritated and it has never broken me out. However, there are two things to keep in mind when using this sunscreen. One-you should ALWAYS shake the bottle before you application. Since there is a great sum of oil content in this sunscreen, the oil separates from the zinc oxide and I find that if I didn't shake the bottle before I applied the sunscreen onto my face, there was more oil than zinc oxide (which is the actual ingredient that protects you from the sun exposure). Once you shake the bottle, you can pump the product into your hands and you will get an even blend of all the ingredients. Two-I also found that I needed to exfoliate my face regularly. This wasn't much of a problem because I normally exfoliate twice a week, but when I would skip exfoliation in my routine, I found that this sunscreen can tend to cling to dry patches. Other than these two minuscule cons, I absolutely love this sunscreen and would absolutely recommend this to anybody who is looking to use natural skincare products/use cruelty-free products and/or you have sensitive or acne-prone skin. Nature's Brands-PLEASE never discontinue this product!

I LOVE love love this facial moisturizer! It's goes on light and smooth, and my skin feels so soft. It doesn't make my face whitish at all, which I was worried about. It's a great primer for my mineral makeup and I love that I have sun protection. It is olive oil based, so there is oil on your face, which I notice when I look at my phone screen (which my face touches throughout the day) but despite this slight transfer, my face never feels oily throughout the day and I know it's getting good moisturization and barrier protection. The best part is how safe it is, it's recommended by the EWG! PS: I ordered this and it arrived with the top cracked and Nature's Brands sent me a free replacement right away!

My one qualm with this lotion is how thick it is. I searched the reviews to make sure it doesn't go on as a white pasty cream, but I was horrified to find out halfway through the day that if you don't rub in VERY well, you'll be left with white streaks on your face. That being said, if you take the time to rub in and make sure its absorbed, it feels very lightweight despite it's thick texture. Also, a little bit goes a long way, meaning it's great value for the price. I do recommend, just don't be dumb like me and make sure to properly apply and take care that you don't look like Queen Elizabeth after applying her lead make-up

The most natural sunscreen I can find without sunflower oil which I am allergic to and most brands have that and toxic chemicals. This doesn't break out my skin. I put my tan, natural make up on top of it as it is very white sunscreen. They sell a tinted version of this sunscreen. I am happy it blocks UVA and UVB. I have tan skin that rarely burns but had some non threatening skin cancer removed and it made me worry that maybe we all really need sunscreen. None of my family has a history of skin cancer. It is good to take precautions. I believe some of those chemical sunscreens just make your skin cancer risk worse and zinc seems the best protection.

Probably great for sunscreen but was looking for something more like a sunscreen/ moisturizer but this has too much zinc to really absorb into face and leaves a ghostly film. Will use on arms and legs but definitely not on the face.

This feels like I’m applying wall paint to my face. I walked around wondering why everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.... it was this sunscreen...

I was hoping to find a natural face moisturizer that had sunscreen that I would love (or at least like).This product leaves my face looking ghostly white. I then have to apply a tinted cream to counteract and I do not prefer to wear much make-up so I don’t think I will be using this product.

I guess if you like the "casper" zinc tint for your workday, this is great. It is VERY thick, very white and doesn't spread very nicely on the face. Not to mention it's pricey for a small bottle.......wouldn't use it on my body. I cam to work looking very "ghostly". Will stick to using it at home on the weekends.
