The model should be given a 5 for delivering what was promised. The pieces are well-defined, properly sorted, and organized and the drawings are clear and with limited textural directions. But you better be very careful because many pieces are very, very tiny. So, do not lose the actual component pieces as I did. The fasteners are provided with some extras in case of loss. And although a limited amount of small tools are included, you will definitely need to have more.

Very amazing product! Nice challenge to build and very fun bonding between my son(9) and I. A few difficult and almost impossible moments but just think it through and find the easier way. Pieces are incredibly small and not easy to handle but don’t give up this is well worth it, product is of good quality even tho it’s from China. Very happy with purchase and am already looking for another!

This is a great product, fun to build and very challenging. The screws and nuts are quite small, but with patience, it is definitely doable. The finished product is beautiful and all parts are adjustable. The directions are great, you need to review them first for each step. I definitely recommend this product.

I have done few of these. Haven't had any problems. Enjoy the builds.

these models are awesome and I have purchased 8 or 9 different ones now. this was my first and I was quite impressed with the packaging and everything. I've noticed that the packaging is not consistent though and others are not packed the same. in the case of this specific model, all the parts are in molded plastic trays with letters embossed in each tray. additionally it comes with printed cards showing the position of every part with its part number. this makes it easy to find most of the parts you need, and additionally you could use that to disassemble the model and put all its parts back in their spots to reassemble again later. Most of the other models did not do this however... I do like that some of the models come in their own toolbox style plastic case, but was a little disappointed when I got the Chinese dragon and it did not come in the black and yellow case shown in the pics. The Aurora Dragon comes in a larger black case and weighs around 20lbs. all in all these models are incredible and I plan to take several of them with me when I go to visit family next and put them together with the kids. they do require attention to detail as a lot of parts are very easy to put on the wrong way, or may slip off easily before you get them secured.

First I have to say I started with the red and nickel finish. I liked it so much I bought the black and gold. All the parts are beautifully made, no sharp edges and they fit perfectly - no file needed. They are packaged in trays with a guide for each. The directions are relatively clear. The only negative thing I can say is that there are a handful of very challenging assemblies where the parts are very small - skill level high. The parts are all secured with very small screws and nuts. I used wicking super glue with micro nozzle - looks like a hummingbird beak to secure the screws "AFTER" I had finished.
